Welcome to your perfect Hernando Beach getaway! This 2-bedroom, 2-bath waterfront home is tucked along a deep-water canal with direct Gulf of Mexico access—ideal for boating, fishing, kayaking, or simply soaking up Florida’s coastal charm.

Host was immediately responsive and friendly. Attention to detail was applied in every room of this home. More amenities than I’ve ever experienced in any rental before. This home was cozy and so peaceful. The canal in the back was so enjoyable to relax and watch the sea life. Several local restaurants with good food. . A great getaway!

To start we have stayed at many vacation rentals and this by far exceeds all others. Upon arrival the property was immaculate. Wendy was an amazing host and responded immediately to any questions. The kitchen was very well stocked for cooking. Her attention to detail was well thought out, anything you needed was there. We enjoyed watching the shrimp boats from the screened in porch. We were 5 minutes away from the Weeki Wachee Preserve, which we enjoyed hiking every morning. We also enjoyed manatee viewing at Linda Pedersen Park. In closing I would highly recommend this wonderful property for your vacation.

We had an amazing stay at this Hernando Beach home. The home was absolutely immaculate—cozy, inviting, and fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. From a great coffee station to plenty of cookware, the hosts really thought of every detail. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and perfect for unwinding after a long day.The outside area was pure tranquility. Situated right on the canal, we enjoyed relaxing on the floating dock and watching boats come and go. It made for such a peaceful, refreshing atmosphere.The neighborhood itself is quiet and peaceful, yet just minutes away from delicious restaurants, bars with live music, and the incredible Weeki Wachee area. We brought our motorcycles down and were not disappointed—the rides and nearby scenery were fantastic.Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and serene getaway. We’d absolutely stay again!

Loved our stay at the “rod and reel”!The most important things first, the place is clean and well maintained. The beds are comfortable and I particularly loved the black out curtains when I wanted to sleep in. The kitchen was well equipped, but honestly I enjoyed the coffee bar and the local restaurants more than cooking. The many options of outdoor seating was great for morning coffee and an evening glass of wine. Watching the boats and wildlife from the docks was relaxing. I loved taking the golf cart out in the evening and exploring the neighborhoods. But my favorite thing was taking the kayaks to Weeki Wachee. I saw a couple of manatees and loved how clear and beautiful the river is. They also have the mermaid show, kind of hokey but it’s a must see. I spoke with the owner who had to help me with keypad, apparently I missed adding # to enter. She was funny and happy to help. I would def come back here again and rent a boat. Wonderful stay!!!

Firstly, I've rented approximately 20 properties through VRBO. We stayed at this property for 30 days. This will stand out as one of our favorite spots, and the host (Wendy) was great to work with. The location was fantastic. We enjoyed watching the commercial fishing boats come and go with the tide. We spotted dolphins at the dock on 3 different occasions. And the bird activity was great. The house was super clean and very well appointed. I've never rented a place that was this well-equipped. From the coffee bar, and spices, to the linens/towels - all were top notch. They had really nice cookware & knives usually not seen in a rental. Very good quality. We took the kayaks out many times - visiting the manatees and exploring the canals. The neighborhood was nice and very safe. A couple of the local restaurants were very good too. And it's convenient to grocery stores and shopping. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.
