This home is just a stone's throw away from downtown Saint Joseph with great shopping and dining year-round. There are beautiful Lake Michigan beaches in the Summer and the Fire & Ice festival and "Light up the Bluff" in the Winter. Short day-trips in any direction to wineries, breweries, and destination farms.
We offer a furnished bedroom with Queen bed and bath (shower + tub) and access to shared spaces (living room, kitchen, downstairs finished basement).
You'll love our fully stocked black & white retro kitchen. The downstairs includes a sofa bed and flat screen TV for extra comfort. Enjoy the limestone fireplace upstairs or sit around the backyard fire pit under the stars.
The backyard features a barn, screened in porch and patio and lots of lovely trees. Parking space in the driveway.

I'm an anthropologist born in California who settled in SW Michigan 20 years ago. I work in community health and live with my daughter, Ella and a friendly golden doodle named Rosie.

Over COVID we moved here for the school system and to be closer to the lake. Amtrak is down the road and provides daily trains to Chicago if we need a city fix.

We're on a quiet court across from an elementary school and right off Red Arrow Highway. Minutes to town and beaches in either direction. The Southshore Health & Raquet Club is minutes away and has fitness classes, a pool and pickleball. The layout of the property allows for both coziness or privacy. It's beautiful for all seasons.
