Property was clean with great sleeping accommodations and beautiful decorating. We had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. There was a few repairs needed but the staff address them promptly. We would use this property again.

Great friend vacation!

We had a great time. The location was perfect for us an easy walk to the beach. We loved the golf cart, plenty of space for the 12 kids to spread out. We will be back! Pool was warm. It was clean and Destin dreamers was wonderful with communication!

Nice but issues

The home is beautiful, and the management company easy to communicate with. However, there were many things that happened during our near 2 week stay that should be noted. After arriving, it was clear that the cleaning company did not do the job that we would have hoped. Dirty dishes in the cabinets, thick dust on several items, smeared mirrors, and worst of all, dirty bedding (as well as unfinished beds - the flat sheets were tucked neatly underneath the pillows waiting for us to put them on). The management company was very gracious in giving us all new sheets and towels (even though there was just a small amount dirty). Outside of the cleaning issues, there was no swing in the back, the table on the third floor had several chairs that were broken, the refrigerator was leaking onto the floor. But worst of all there was mold in the washing machine as well as the air vent in the bathroom. Since mold is a health hazard, this was very difficult to overlook. On the plus side, the golf cart was a lot of fun to use! The beach was literally just four or five minutes away via the golf cart. Back patio was a wonderful place to barbecue. It's covered and has a fan making it cool in the Florida heat. Kitchen and living area were perfect for our large family to gather. Beds were very comfortable with nice sized rooms. Only good things to say about the management company. They were always available to us, and tried their best to make good out of the things that were less than.

Great House Great Family retreat

Perfect except a bit further from beach than suggested. That however was mitigated by a brand new electric seven person golf cart and the great beach in Miramar. Also parking at the beach is day only but more available than reported. Parking was not just by the Pompano Joe restaurant but also in a free county lot across the street. Parking near the Retreat mail box was scooped up fast by early birds. Parking at the houses was great. While not allowed on the street a car could slide in next to the street on the ample house parking apron. The house itself was fantastic. The green egg a hit. It had all we needed. The fridge and freezer ample for our 20 person stay. The great room terrific. And so much more for the kids and family. They provided ten beach towels. I asked before we came if they had them and the rental agent did not know. Not a biggy but we brought our own. Huge family room tv and tv’s throughout. An electric system as you entered that was computer centric. This is a modern house with lots of toys for the kids and comfort for the adults. All kings except one with two queens that was probably the most popular. It is a huge room. The bedrooms also were private and comfortable. For big families the bunk rooms outstanding. Every one had a terrific time and the Magnolia Retreat did that. It was well worth the cost. One more thing. The community pool was clean and well used. The kids loved it. Just across the street. It had a terrific sitting area and seven green eggs.

Family Vacation

The trip was a Huge success! Had the entire family, children and grandchildren there. Kitchen has everything you need for meals. Access to the beach was simple with both Car and Golf Cart. We would definitely do it again.

Golfers go to Destin

Could not wait to get there and hated to leave. What a great house. Four of our golfers had their wives and all had King Suites. This house has it all. The pictures you see are what you get. Will be back next year for sure. Ladies, 3 blocks to the beach. Men, less than 2 miles to 4 of the best golf courses anywhere.

Great family vacation

The property was beautiful and equipped with lots of games and entertainment. This was our first annual 1st cousins trip and it was amazing. The neighborhood was nice, quiet, not far from the beach and restaurants. The property manager supplied us with lots of information needed to enjoy our trip beforehand. The check in and out process was simple and easy. I highly recommend.

Magnolia Retreat

The Magnolia Retreat was amazing. The owners/managers thought of every minute detail, down to ensuring there was charcoal available for the green egg smoker. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed our time there, especially when the weather was less than desirable. There was always something for the kids to do. The Magnolia Retreat will definitely be on our list of places to rent in the future.

Excellent place!

We stayed with other families over Spring break and everything about this house was excellent! Very spacious and plenty of room for four families. Loved that every room had its own bathroom. Communication with the owners/property management was above expectations. Had an issue with the golf cart which was unfortunate, but quickly resolved. Some areas and furniture are starting to show some wear and tear, but I guess that is to be expected with rental units like these. Overall we had an excellent stay and would highly recommend.

Great Stay!

Just a note. The golf cart struggled at times. Fully charged but slow. Also, hesitated multiple times to move forward. Had to bump switch several times and it finally triggered to move.

Our group named it the Compound!

This property was beautiful. The host allowed us to check in early after housekeeping was finished. JayTen was our host and he came by to check on our group with a bottle of wine for a gift. They were very responsive and answered quickly when we had questions. Our group had a pool party and BBQ at the community's pool and wveryone was friendly. I would say the only thing we missed was a private pool, so our next stay would be on of the properties that have a pool. Will we definitely be back and would recommend this property Every-time. Thank you for a wonderful experience. You guys rock!!

Best Stay Ever!!

This property totally exceeded our expectations! We were extremely pleased with absolutely everything. The property was extremely clean and very well taken care of. The description of the property was 100% accurate. And the management staff was superb!

Christmas at the beach

Four generations of our family enjoyed our time at "The Magnolia" residence. Sleeping rooms were delightful, the little ones really enjoyed the bunk beds. The kitchen was large enough to accommodate many "cooks" working on separate projects at the same time. The weather was warm for December which was a real plus for all of us.
