Escape to a private waterfront sanctuary on 2.57 acres in the heart of the Texas Hill Country in Spicewood. With 130 feet of gently sloping beach on Lake Travis and unobstructed views of the 1145-acre protected Turkey Bend Recreation Area, this peaceful retreat offers privacy, beauty, and quiet luxury surrounded by nature. Lake Travis is currently 96% full and guests can enjoy swimming, fishing and easy access for boating, with a community ramp just yards away. All just a short drive from wineries, dining, golf, games, and outdoor activities.

Designed for guests who value serenity over crowds and noise, the property is ideal for relaxing getaways, couples' weekends, family gatherings, and restorative time by the water. This was the best place I’ve ever stayed at! My family had a wonderful time relaxing and exploring the creek and lake. The cowboy was perfect for hanging out during the hot afternoon. Everything was so clean and COMFY!!! The house is so beautiful and so well decorated and furnished. The host was extremely helpful, easy to contact and literally has thought of everything you could ever need. 1000/10 for Carla! My most favorite amenity was the instant hot water for tea!!

We had a terrific time. What a beautiful property. We had so much fun running around, fishing, swimming, and walking in water with grandkids. Close to anything you’d need. House was clean and very nice. Sitting outside and barbecuing was so nice.

The screened porch on the 2nd floor was a great place to sit and enjoy the view of the lake. It was very peaceful and had a secluded feel, even though there were other houses nearby. The lake was an easy walk away.

We really enjoyed our weekend here! The house was very clean and had everything that you need for a comfortable stay. The check-in process was easy and Carla did a great job of communicating with us and checking to see if we had everything we needed. Our family really enjoyed the screened in porch, where we watched the sunrise over the water in the mornings. We also enjoyed relaxing and reading in the sunroom. It gave us a chance to disconnect and recharge. When it was time to leave, our daughter asked if we could come back and stay another time. I told her that we will definitely stay here again. This is a wonderful place for anyone looking to relax in a beautiful and comfortable place.

This property is outstanding! Beautiful setting and lovely home that has everything you could possibly need to enjoy a fun getaway. Check-in is a breeze and the amenities are plentiful. We had a great stay at this property with a group of friends. The home is on a beautiful, spacious property that feels peaceful and secluded while still being perfect for entertaining. Every room was thoughtfully decorated, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook. My group also loved the cowboy pool, especially with the creek and waterfall right beside it.When we arrived, the house wasn't cooling properly, but Carla responded immediately and had the issue resolved right away. She was incredibly responsive, kind, and easy to communicate with.The only suggestion I'd make is to include the full checkout instructions in the welcome binder along with the checkout time, so everything is in one place.Overall, this is a fantastic property with an exceptional host!

If you love water & nature, you will love this rental! We have rented quite a few houses over the past couple of years & this is by far our favorite. It's minutes away from Krauss Springs which was the reason for our trip, we took all our kids (13, 18, 22, 24 & 26). The property is on the river with amazing views. There is a running water feature, which is not only beautiful, but sounds amazing, The location is private, quiet & extremely peaceful. The cowboy pool was nice for an evening soak after the day at the Springs. The outdoor kitchen was perfect for grilling and enjoying some family time. Definitely a 10 out of 10! Carla our host was amazing as we had reached out Saturday evening to have the running water turned back on for the evening as everyone loved it so much!! Thank you Carla for sharing your amazing house with us! We may be back next year for our annual trip!

We wanted to stay at a property for some relaxation and this property was gorgeous inside and out with breath taking view and nature dream. Carla was amazing .she was very professional , kind and understanding . Great to work with and went out of her way to make our trip possible. We had such a wonderful time in Spicewood while attending our niece's wedding. This property was the perfect spot for my sisters and I. We enjoyed the most relaxing afternoons going for walks, reading books, napping and recharging before and after the wedding. From the comfy beds, to the well stocked kitchen to the outdoor oasis with its cowboy pool and tree swing to that amazing master bath with the sky view...we felt so pampered and left happy. Thank you, Carla, for this beautiful retreat and much needed green break.

We had the most amazing stay at Carla’s home. Everything was beyond our expectations. Beautiful, clean, and so comfortable. We did not want to leave and hope to make it back again soon. 10/10 Thank you Carla!

I purchased this property in 2005 as a family retreat. After hectic work weeks in our cities - Austin, Houston and Shreveport - we spent family time on the water - swimming, boating, skiing and fishing -, cooking, and staying up until the wee hours playing dominoes, cards and board games. Always with the family dogs - mostly labs and shih tzus, but a few dearly loved mutts. During the meteor showers in August, we spread blankets, turned out the lights, and counted shooting stars. When the weather turned cold, we made a big fire to burn a year's accumulation of brush and roast a mountain of marshmallows.

I'm grateful that we were able to make such special memories. Now I want to share this place so others can make their own memories.
