PET-FRIENDLY + PRIVATE DOG RUN
We're happy to welcome well-behaved pets at The Boone!
While the home's lawn and general yard are NOT fenced, there is a separate, private dog run that is fenced and enclosed for guest convenience.
The dog run is a great added convenience for guests traveling with dogs, but it is not a professionally constructed kennel or pet-containment system. Guests should inspect the area before use and supervise their pets whenever they are outside.
WHY “THE BOONE”?
The home is named in honor of William Judson Boone, the founding president of the College of Idaho, located just across the street.
The College held its first class in 1891 with only two students, and Boone went on to lead the school for 45 years. His influence and legacy remain an important part of the College of Idaho today.
The home's newest owners are College of Idaho alumni, making this home and its location especially meaningful to them. Naming it The Boone is a nod to the history across the street and to a place that has been an important part of their own story.
They're excited to share The Boone with fellow alumni, visiting families, future Yotes, and guests discovering Caldwell for the first time.
We hope you enjoy making a few memories here of your own.
