We needed a place to stay for my daughter’s wedding in Auburn and this was perfect. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well furnished, and my dogs loved exploring the fenced in yard. (The pool is well kept and gorgeous. Unfortunately, it was too cool to go swimming on this trip but that pool was calling our names!. It would be amazing to use during the warmer months.) The home was roomy, inviting, and decorated beautifully. Tons of outdoor seating with tables. Grocery stores, restaurants, and shopping less than ten minutes away. Parking was great (off the street) and felt safe and secure. The host was very responsive to messages/ texts. We even met her one evening and she was super friendly and eager to accommodate. We had a very pleasant stay and we will definitely be staying here in the future.

The owner was super sweet and we loved our little home away from home. So many amenities and close to shopping, restaurants, and the freeway. The place was charming and had everything we needed and more. Thank you for a lovely stay! We will certainly be back again.

Carla was incredibly kind and welcoming throughout our stay. She was always available whenever we needed anything, and the apartment was absolutely perfect! We especially enjoyed the pool and appreciated the in-home dehumidifier — such a thoughtful touch. Carla truly thought of everything!

This was a perfect rental for our family and pet! The pool and patio area were we grilled was very relaxing and secluded. The theater was great for our family gathering to watch movies. Overall the entire place was very clean, but the best of all, was the attention our host gave us, very nice and attentive. She was always a phone call away to answer any question. Highly recommend this one!!

Thanksgiving Holiday

Our family of 4 and 2 dogs stayed here while visiting family in Winder and Athens. The tall ceilings & nicely designed interior created a spacious & comfortable experience. We appreciated the fenced, private backyard and the quiet neighborhood lined with sidewalks for daily long walks. We had a good experience and would stay here again in the future. Thank you for hosting us, Carla!

Fun Easter Weekend!

We had a wonderful time staying here. Beautiful property and well supplied with anything you may need. The host, Carla was so sweet and very responsive to any requests. Only had two minor things and they were taken care of immediately. We went to the zoo, botanical gardens, Stone Mountain and the park, all very close. Also had family movie night in the theatre room 💜💜 We definitely recommend this place for a fun family vacation. Thank you again Carla💜

The apartment is so comfortable and spacious! Carla goes the extra mile make sure guests sre welcomed and comfortable. Everything is sparkling clean and in great shape. The neighborhood is lovely and blissfully quiet. It’s close to restaurants and shopping, but not too close. Our 2 year old grandson visited us during the day and the theater room was perfect for cartoons and keeping his toys contained. The kitchen is well appointed and met our needs. We did not use the pool due to the weather being a little cool, but it is well maintained. We will defiinitely try to stay here again!

Host did not disclose pet fees before giving check-in information. She has now changed her ad to reflect this.Basement was very comfortable. Had to clean stove top to use, otherwise unit was very clean. Beware of vines with thorns in rough area where your pets need to go. Parking is incorrect in picture. A truck stays parked there so you need to park to right of it which is very tight trying to unload.

I love my VRBO and have been a pet-friendly host for nearly 14 years, and pet fees are clearly disclosed in the listing prior to booking. It was never added later as mentioned here. In this case, the guest didn't mention pets in her reservation but brought two large dogs, seemed surprised to pay any fees, agreed to the fees, and later argued for a reduction. Parking instructions are also always sent prior to arrival in the welcome message. The review describes the parking exactly as outlined in those instructions, so there is some confusion in the mind of this guest in saying that it was not properly represented. It is super important to always read the listing carefully, put the correct number of guests and pets in your reservation and also read your welcome message and the house book when you arrive. This will always eliminate any confusion for you and make your stay happy and comfy!

Southern Hospitality at its best

First I’d like to say Carla was super responsive from prior to booking to our trip to during our stay for any needs ( not that there were many) The place was just as described, immaculate, and much bigger than expected, Instacart was quick to deliver, the porch and yard and barbecue was great for any family from small children up and even your friendly four legged friends. My only wish was that the season allowed for us to swim in the beautiful pool! While definitely country living ( right up my alley) the shops and things to do were within 30 minutes, and perfect location for where our tournament was! Would definitely consider staying again ❤️ Thanks Carla 👏

Very private and very clean! Slept so well with dark cool rooms! Well decorated and host thought of everything, in case you didn't!Kids loved watching a movie on big screen in theater room after long day and I preparing a meal.Cooling off in Georgia heat with your own pool was just what we neededWe played games and felt very comfortable and safe. Carla the host was super responsive to everything, Its the little things like extra trash bags, lights that auto/sensor come on as you go to bathroom at night in strange place. We never heard the owners or saw them while there. Movies, parks, waterparks, stone mountain, A Lot of the downtown small towns have a lot going on!Number one stay place for Me and three grand kids. But Carla even has two roll away twin beds and the kids slept one night in theater room. I don't recommend more than 5-6 One King, One Queen in each room but both large enough for a roll away bed. I would think too many kids and you may bother the host in pool and only one bathroomYou want be disappointed for a girls weekend either!Didn't need to bring pet but glad it was an option!Karen D
