Temmelig fritliggende sommerhus stammer fra 1800-tallet. Det har en smuk og lukket sydvendt have med en solrig aspekt, som er fantastisk til grill eller bare solbadning i fredelige omgivelser. Der er en fantastisk udsigt over Mount Bay og videre mod Lizard. Interiøret er smagfuldt indrettet med masser af originale kunstværker på væggene.

Der er to primære Repræsentationslokaler - det ene med en stor træ-brænder til de kolde vinteraftener. Køkkenet er fuldt udstyret med masser af service og kogegrej. Ovenpå er der et badeværelse med toilet, håndvask, bad og bruser faciliteter, et soveværelse med dobbeltseng, et soveværelse og et lille enkeltværelse. Alle værelser nyde en spektakulær udsigt. En velopdragen hund er velkommen. En rejseseng er tilgængelig på anmodning. We loved our stay, cottage wonderfully traditional amd homely. Had everything we needed, weather was quite cold and windy for our stay so we were very grateful to arrive to a toasty warm cottage as the radiators had thoughtfully been.put on for us (we did end up switching them.off for most pf the stay as cottage warmed up quickly.) Loved walking the dogs up to the beacon or down to the reservoir, they also had a wonderful time sunbathing in the garden. It was lovely to get the morning sun and have breakfast outside. Plenty to see all within 10/15mins drive of the cotrage. Definetly recommend if you love peace and tranquility like us.

Fab house in a great location

We had the best time in the farmhouse. The location was superb, so many amazing places to visit within a 15 min drive of the property. The weather was mixed but on the rainy days we had plenty of entertainment options with all the different games provided in the house.

Lovely cottage and garden

Our second visit to this lovely cottage. Enjoyed the views from the garden and from upstairs across the fields, walks to the Beacon and the Holy Well. Great location for visiting our favourite places, Sennen, Marazion, Mousehole.

Lovely stay at Newington

We had a really pleasant stay at Newington Farmhouse. Great base for exploring West Cornwall. Lovely cottage with lots of charm and fabulous countryside views. The cottage had everything we needed. Lyndsay was a great host.

Lovely cottage!

We really enjoyed the cottage. The location is great for walks and some main tourist attractions in the south. We were missing a loungeset so you can relax outside in the lovely garden (there is an iron two set + an older bench).

There are actually sunchairs in the shed for guests to use to enjoy relaxing in the garden but we do not leave these out as they are canvas. Relaxing Break

Had a great stay at Newington Farmhouse - property was very quiet and we seldom saw another car. Garden was lovely to sit in. Everyone had a fabulous break and the host was very accommodating.

Gorgeous holiday home

A beautiful house, I was very sad to leave. Blue painted wood, views from the bedroom, amazingly well equipped kitchen, gorgeous private garden, stunning and magical surroundings.

What a wonderful place to stay!

A lovely cottage with a beautiful garden and a peaceful, idyllic location! The house is cosy, comfortable and well equipped, it could not have been better.We also loved sitting in the the garden and enjoying the great views and the silence. The area is wonderful for walking.This was one of the best holidays we ever had!

A real bolt hole !

We had a wonderful week at newington farm , from where we could easily explore this beautiful area of west Penwith . The cottage was warm and cosy and extremely well -equipped . The beds were very comfortable too ! The perfect all year round cottage. Looking forward to our next visit already !

Excellent stay at lovely cottage

We stayed in this cottage for a week in October, from the moment you walked into the porch area it had a homely feeling, the cottage as a whole was very clean and had everything we needed for an easy relaxing stay. The garden was brilliant for our boys and well maintained. Location wise is set on the edge of the village in a very quiet location but within easy reach of the local bigger towns. Would definetly recommend staying here for a peaceful country Cornish break

Beautiful countryside cottage

Lovely cottage in a quiet Cornish village. Beautiful, peaceful garden. The cottage is very well equipped with everything you could need during your stay. Close to Penzance, Newlyn & Mousehole. Lots of places to visit & plenty of places to eat, just a short car drive away. Nice walks in the vicinity of the cottage. Will definitely stay in this cottage again.

A wonderful stay in Cornwall

We had a lovely time at Newington Farmhouse. The cottage was cosy, comfortable and well-equipped. The garden was a delight, with great views across the fields to Mounts Bay. Sancreed itself is a fascinating village; as well as some lovely local walks it is also an ideal base for exploring the West Penwith area of Cornwall with its stunning coastline and hidden coves. Our two cats enjoyed staying at the cottage as well. We would definitely choose Newington Farmhouse again.

A week at Newington Farmhouse

A lovely house in a nice position. Great garden which should be secure for most dogs and good views down to Mounts Bay. The house is comfortable with everything you need and the bed is comfy - don't know about the other two bedrooms as they were not used!! Only a short trip by car to the shops - main supermarkets in Penzance - about 15 minutes with "local" shops in Newlyn.

Cosy pleasant cottage with lovely garden

Great cottage and garden. Well equipped. Internet good. Pity local walks were overgrown but hopefully local council will sort that out. Needed to use the car a lot to get anywhere. Highlight was The Minack Theatre which is nearby. Weather unfortunately mixed but can imagine if good would be wonderful.

Amazing!

The Farmhouse is absolutely stunning, it had everything we needed for a more than comfortable stay. Beautiful surroundings and we wish we had stayed for 2 weeks as there was so much to do! We visited Mousehole, St Michaels Mount, Penzance, Trewidden Gardens, Sennen Cove, Lands End, Marazion but there was so much more to still see and you can easily go into a second week of trips. I highly recommend you stay at this property, not only a home from home but it was one of the best holidays I have had in ages. Thank you Lindsay for a A++ accommodation, I am sure we will return one day!

An oasis of peace and countryside charm

This property is just wonderful - it's cosy, so comfortable, beautifully decorated and with all conveniences. The garden is lush and secluded, and was also secure for our wee dog. The views to the sea in the distance were fabulous, and the abundance of wildflowers around us was lovely. The house is situated in the countryside - BUT - is incredibly close to all the best places on the Lands End penninsula: Sennen and Porthcuno beaches, Mousehole, Penzance, St Michael's Mount, St Just - all just a very close drive (less than 20 minutes). You can enjoy these places and then get away from it all to the farmhouse. My only downside was having to come home to London afterwards! Can't sing enough praises - enjoy yourselves here!

Tolles Cottage mit einer super Atmosphäre

Peaceful holiday cottage in perfect location

We had a lovely stay at Newington Farmhouse in April - the cottage is well equipped and comfortable, and in a perfect location. The majority of the popular local attractions are less than 20 minutes away. The surroundings were very peaceful, and full of wildlife. One point worth noting is that there are a few steps and walls in the garden which may be less suitable for very young children, but this is a minor point. Overall, very happy thanks!

We live in Bristol and work in a rural craft business in Somerset. I also work as a part-time community worker in Somerset. Our daughter now lives in Cornwall too as does my Mum who has been here over 30 years. We enjoy spending as much time as we can at our cottage, walking, cycling, and visiting friends and family.

We both holidayed in Cornwall as children and my family moved to West Penwith over 30 years ago. My mother lives in a nearby village. The sense of peace in Sancreed is magical, the views from the house are spectacular, and the surrounding area and beaches are wonderful. We can be at the beach in 10 minutes but also pop into Newlyn to stock up on fish in less than 10 minutes. We fell in love with the cottage when we saw it. It suits us perfectly.

The cottage gets flooded with light most of the day. It is south facing with great views. The rooms are attractively decorated with some original artwork on the walls. We love the gardens which surround the cottage too. The lane is so quiet you are far more likely to see a walker/cyclist/horse than a car!
