I have been visiting Tybee Island for over 30 years and have finally found the perfect place to stay. The perfect location, close to all the shops and restaurants. The condo was very clean and secure, the view was amazing. The beach was quiet and not over crowded and the dolphins put on a show for us! We will definitely be returning!

The corner 3rd floor view was wonderful overlooking the water, beach and pool. That in itself was worth the price. However the interior is tired and needs a reno. The frig is totally covered in what looks like spotted rust, the bed is terribly uncomfortable, and the furnishings decades old, although a charmingly beachy vibe. The location was good, quiet and relaxing. It’s near plenty of restaurants (although a car or bike would be recommended).

This is a great location to stay on Tybee, we loved North Beach and the view from our balcony was amazing. We saw dolphins every time we were out there and saw some very pretty sunsets.

This is just as depicted. The view is the best part and the reason we booked it; we loved watching the container ships and dolphins! The complex is nice as well, but the unit is extremely dated and needs improvements to be comfortable. The bedroom mattress is way past its prime. The rental description says smoking and vaping is not allowed, but that wasn’t the case.

The views were great. The beach was great. The unit was a little rundown. The refrigerator had rust stains all over the front of it. The drawers were a little loose in the kitchen and I expected there to be more utensils and things to use for the kitchen like maybe a can openerWe definitely come again, but the unit is definitely not in the best shape. The deck furniture was dirty with dust and the couch was really worn.

Check in was a nightmare. Went to the office to be told my packet was in a box. Retrieved my packet from the box and found the unit. No code. The packet said one would be text to me by check in time at 4. Nothing. Tried reaching out via the VRBO website “contact host”. Nothing. Called the phone number numerous times to try to get someone. Finally, after several calls and messages, someone answered. I was explaining to her we don’t have a code and she literally hung up on right as the clock hit 5:00. Then I called back and got the message “the office was closed”. We finally called the emergency number because we had been outside for over an hour trying to get help. My daughter has a heart condition so this did not help. The lady was finally able to get us a code to get us in. Upon entry the unit smelled musty. The floors were dirty so we had to wipe them down. The kitchen items all needed washing before using. The sliding glass door did not lock which was concerning. That is a safety issue. This unit needs a major cleaning, update and new couch.

Tybee stay

Great visit. Space was clean and we had a great view of the river, dolphins, and cargo ships. Very relaxing. Enjoyed our time.

There were issues with this property from the beginning. I completed check-in at the management office where the staff would barely speak to me and couldn’t and swear my questions about the property. When I arrived at the property, after check-in, the cleaners were still there and I stood in the hall with a handicapped child for about 30 min waiting for access after multiple calls to the property managers. In the property, there were multiple security and safety issues. I found the sliding doors unlocked and discovered the lock did not work. The was also broken furniture, the dining stools coming apart, and the closet was piled high with unused decorations and a foam sheet. I immediately reported these issues by calling the office, sending requested photos via text, and following up with messages in the Vrbo app. Although they told me they would address my issues, no one came to take care of anything during my 5day stay. The inability to lock the door was a safety and security issue. Not addressing that issue was not just neglectful, but was dagerous for my family. I do not recommend this property or the Tybee Vacation Rentals managed properties.

Wonderful place

My wife and I had a great stay here!! Our place was exactly as described! Got to watch the dolphins swimming out from the balcony and seeing the massive ships go by was amazing!! Nice quiet place to relax and take in the beauty of the mouth of the river and ocean. Will definitely be on our list to return!

Fridge was rusted completely. There is NO HOT WATER!!! Beware. Water also stinks very badly. When we turned it on, black stuff came out. Not very clean. We also found a couple bugs in our bed. Tv was old. Bed not comfortable at all. Halfway, false advertising

Beautiful View, Peaceful and Quite

The place was clean. Kitchen well stocked with cookwear and dishes. The view was wonderful. It was super peaceful and quite.

Great location

The property was nice and clean. Pool was awesome and monitored. This location is near where the Savannah river enters the Atlantic. Dolphins coming through each morning and evening, fun to watch!!

Very tidy getaway.

We will definitely stay here again. The condo is obviously a little older, but updated very well and extremely neat and tidy. Our condo was on the end overlooking the ocean, and had a magnificent view. The entire area is very clean and quiet, and extremely family-friendly. We are looking forward to staying there again in the near future.

Great Stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo! It is right where the Savannah River meets the ocean. Beautiful view from the balcony where you can watch the residential Dolphin swim and play in the water in the mornings and evenings! The condo, gated community and pools are very clean and well kept. We will definitely be returning to stay here on our next trip.

We manage the rental process and maintenance of a wide variety of privately owned properties which allows us to pretty much provide something for everyone. We strive to provide our guests with excellent service and value by offering a wide selection of quality properties that are clean and well maintained.

At Tybee Beach Vacation Rentals we are committed to operating a vacation rental business that is driven by excellence in both product and service resulting in customer satisfaction from both the owners we represent and the guests we serve while at the same time providing an empowered work environment for our employees.

We are here to serve you 7 days a week. Our day starts at 9:00 AM and ends at 5:30 PM, however Sunday hours may vary during the off season. Our phone lines are open from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM we turn them over to voice mail at 5:00 PM. Our office is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Days and for some holidays we will close early the day before. We also close early some days to participate in community events such as the Pirate Fest Parade, Beach Bum Parade, etc. Yeah ..... we like to party here at Tybee Beach Vacation Rentals!!!
