The home was a very comfortable 2 bedroom/2 bath nicely furnished and well remodeled home. The cunucu style of thick walls and small windows lends itself to be a beneficial design for island life in the Caribbean. While there is evidence of durability that has stood the test of time, modern updates made the home very comfortable. The pool and outdoor areas were very much enjoyed. There is an option of either propane or charcoal grilling. Numerous plants and trees around the property are labeled with signs, which we appreciated. The home is quite close to the airport, which made our arrival and departure easy. Neighborhood is residential so our stay was relatively quiet. The thick walls of the house also help with sound control. There are free range chickens that roam the property, however, we found them to be a source of amusement. We also spotted several lizards and birds. The cactus were nearly ready to bloom which lent itself to viewing several butterflies and bees. The home stayed comfortably cool with the cooling system. Appliances were very modern and appeared quite new. Kitchen was adequately stocked with all the usual items needed for food preparation. There is no oven, but we did not miss it. There were 4 beach chairs available as well as a small cooler that we found so valuable during our visit to Baby Beach. The washer and dryer allowed us to travel with only carry-on luggage for the week. Highly recommend!
