Welcome to Your Harwich Port Getaway
Escape to the charm of a beautifully preserved antique Cape Cod home, originally built in 1862 by Sea Captain James Monroe Ellis. Rich in history and character, this unique home offers a peaceful retreat while placing you close to many of Cape Cod's most popular destinations.
The home is conveniently located just 1.25 miles from the quaint village of Harwich Port, where you'll find restaurants, shops, beaches, and entertainment. It is centrally located for exploring all of Cape Cod, making day trips to Falmouth, Provincetown, and other Cape destinations easy.
You'll also be:
• Just ½ mile from the Freedom Ferry to Nantucket.
• Adjacent to the town of Chatham.
• Approximately 30 minutes from Hyannis, where ferries depart for Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket.
• Close to popular wedding venues including Wychmere Beach Club, Wequassett Resort & Golf Club, and Chatham Bars Inn.
Guest Access
Your private entrance is through the sliding glass door at the rear of the house, leading directly into your spacious first-floor bedroom. You will have exclusive use of the bathroom located just off the dining room. Guests with mobility concerns may find the rear kitchen entrance more convenient.
During your stay, you're welcome to enjoy the brick patio with grill and the large outdoor shower featuring both hot and cold water.
I am a Realtor and live and work primarily upstairs. While I do occasionally come downstairs to use the kitchen, it is not shared with guests.
Two friendly indoor-only cats, Sassy and Buddy, have access to the main house. If you keep your bedroom door closed, they will not enter your room.
Parking is directly in front of the white gate between my vehicle and my downstairs tenant.
