Overall was a good stay! Although the pool area does not actually give you full privacy from neighbors and golfers.

Thank you so much for staying with us! We truly appreciate you choosing our home and hope you had a wonderful stay. I’m also glad you mentioned the backyard privacy, as it gives me an opportunity to better explain what future guests can expect. We put a great deal of thought into the height of the wall along the golf course. We wanted it high enough to provide privacy, but not so high that it blocked the beautiful golf course and mountain views. Interestingly, I recently had an inquiry from a guest who specifically asked whether the wall was too high because they had stayed at another Lake Havasu home where the walls blocked the views. Our goal was to create the right balance—privacy without feeling closed in or losing the scenery. The Jacuzzi was also intentionally placed close to the primary bedroom in one of the more private areas of the backyard. As with most golf-course properties, someone walking along the course may occasionally be able to see portions of the yard, but the wall was designed to minimize that while still preserving the open views. Thank you again for your feedback and for staying with us. We hope to welcome you back!

There were a few "hiccups" initially, but the owner was on top of them and they were resolved in a timely matter.The spa was so enjoyable as well as the waterfall by the pool. The location was ideal for our needs. Close to London Bridge and being on the golf course was wonderful.The house was clean, the host was very responsive and we were comfortable.

I selected this property based on the pool, knowing that the property had lower ratings than others available. I had to message the owner to get the house access code when we were less than 2 hours from the property because there had been no communication beyond my payment. Pulling up to the property there was trash overflowing two garbage cans and full garbage bags around the trash cans as well. There was only a twin bed in one room without a dresser, nightstand or anything to place a suitcase on. Completely empty besides the bed. The second room had dirty sheets and had not been cleaned. The pillows were nasty and sweat stained in all the rooms. There was no additional toilet paper besides the half rolls in each of the two bathrooms and there was no hand soap in the master bath. The pool deck was dirty and had to be cleaned before we could enjoy the outdoor space. The pool itself was very dirty as well, and the diving board was broken, which was not placed in the general information. The hostess did respond to a couple of messages, but did not address the dirty linens. Overall, we did spend a lot of time in the pool everyday. Host did have someone come vacuum the pool but they did not clean the small hot tub attached to the pool. There was no inside lock to the garage, it only locked from inside of the garage, so if anyone came into the garage then they could enter into the house without any difficulty, which did not make me feel safe.

Thank you for taking the time to give me such detailed feedback. It is extremely helpful. We love our home and really want our guests to love and enjoy it the way we do, so I appreciate knowing both what needs improvement and what you enjoyed. I am already making several changes based on your comments: replacing the pillows, reviewing and possibly removing the decorative duvets, adding luggage racks to the bedrooms, making sure bathroom supplies are better stocked, purchasing a robotic pool vacuum, and moving forward with resurfacing the Jacuzzi. I would especially appreciate a little clarification on the bedding. Were the bamboo sheets in the primary suite clean and comfortable? Were the pillows you showed me actually on the beds, or were they extra pillows stored in the house? Did the pillows on the beds have pillowcases and protective covers? Also, do you think we should simply eliminate the decorative top comforters and keep the bedding more streamlined? Overall, did the house appear clean and prepared when you arrived? Did you find the extra toilet paper in the hall bathroom cabinet? You arrived following a windy weekend, and the pool service comes on Mondays. Your comments made me realize we need a solution for those in-between times, so I am purchasing a robotic pool vacuum that can quickly clean the pool after wind or storms. I would also value your thoughts about the garage. Did you actually park your car in the garage? Would you prefer having garage access, or do you think it would be better to keep the garage closed and have guests use the driveway? Just as importantly, I would love to know which amenities you enjoyed. We have tried to include some special features for longer stays, including the McIntosh audio system with Bowers & Wilkins speakers, 300 movies, a professional gas range, ultra-soft bamboo sheets, the GrandBed by Tempur-Pedic in the primary suite, and the Dreame robot vacuum for keeping the floors clean during a stay. Did you use the robot vacuum, and was it helpful? Knowing what you liked is just as valuable as knowing what needs improvement. I don't want to remove or change amenities guests actually enjoy. Thank you again, Tony. Your feedback gives me specific things I can improve and helps us make the home more comfortable and enjoyable for future guests.

I was born and raised in Arizona and have spent my life between Lake Havasu and Scottsdale. Our Havasu home has always been a special place for our family—a relaxing poolside retreat where we could escape, spend time together, and enjoy everything Lake Havasu has to offer.

My husband also used the home as a peaceful place to unwind between long days performing surgery at the hospital. The neighborhood is quiet and relaxing, yet conveniently close to everything.

The home was originally built by a retired couple and thoughtfully designed for comfortable, easy living. Over the years, we have remodeled and upgraded it while preserving that comfortable feeling, creating a luxury desert escape that we are now happy to share with our guests.

One of my favorite things about the home is the beautiful mountain and fairway views and the peaceful feeling of living directly on the golf course. The home is located along a major tee area, rather than where golfers typically hit toward the house, so we have not experienced the golf-ball issues that can occur at some other golf-course homes.

This area is considered part of the upper golf course, which we especially love because the views are free from overhead power lines. It gives the backyard and pool area a much more open, serene feeling, with beautiful views of the fairway, mountains, and Arizona sky.

What Makes Our Havasu Home Unique

What I love most about this home is how easy and uncomplicated it is to enjoy. The floor plan is comfortable and welcoming, and when our children were younger, they loved riding bikes through the quiet neighborhood and spending entire days in the pool. It has always been a place for relaxing and enjoying time together.

Over the years, we have added special touches to create a more luxurious retreat. The high-end kitchen features beautiful Michelangelo marble countertops and a Viking Professional gas range. I especially love roasting salmon—the gas range helps keep it juicy and flavorful. Because the countertops are genuine marble, please use care with citrus and other acidic foods that can stain or etch the stone.

Music is also a big part of our family. The home features McIntosh audio equipment and professional-quality speakers associated with Abbey Road Studios in London, creating an amazing listening experience.

The primary bedroom is designed for comfort, with a DreamBed mattress and soft bamboo sheets. The mattress minimizes motion transfer, which makes it especially comfortable when one person moves during the night.

Important Note for Families with Young Children

The home was built before many of today’s pool-safety features became common and does not have self-closing sliding doors or a permanent pool fence. If you have toddlers or young children who are not water-safe, I recommend choosing another property. I raised my own children here and used extra door latches and precautions, but I remember how stressful it could be.

We want guests to relax and enjoy their vacation. The home is best suited for adults, older children, and families who are comfortable with a private pool environment and provide appropriate supervision.
