Great room includes kitchen, dining area and living room featuring a fireplace and 18' cathedral ceiling with open upper loft. Main floor primary suite has access to the screened in porch. Basement is finished with 2 bedrooms, family room and full bath. Wonderful outside living space with a fire pit and hot tub.Rain or shine, this home has plenty of activities to keep your group entertained, including a hot tub and foosball table. We had a fantastic time with our extended family at this house. The little community is so friendly and the beach was the highlight of our trip. Sunset park is not to be missed!

We had a great time with our large family for a vacation with grandparents, kids, aunts and uncles! The perfect backyard for kids and beach access was perfect! Very open, clean and great for all ages!

Family Getaway

Excellent well stocked home, with lots of gathering spaces, walking distance to Lake Michigan with a private sand beach. Great outside spaces, easily accommodated 12 people. Would definitely book again!

Family vacation

This HOME is wonderful. Even in heat warning weather, the patio umbrellas protected us. 6 min walk/2min drive to PRIVATE beach on lake Michigan was the best. Perfect location between adorable towns. Hit the amazing farmers market on Saturday, beware the pies are so good.

Our stay in South Haven was very enjoyable. The house itself was very clean, spacious, and welcoming. The layout/floor plan worked out perfectly for our extended family of 10, with one family with kids sleeping upstairs, one family with kids sleeping downstairs, and my wife and I occupying the main floor. We had plenty of space to be separated when necessary, and loads of comfortable space to gather together both indoors and out as well. We all enjoyed the hot tub and the spacious lawn, where the kids enjoyed various ball and other games . The house was well stocked and we enjoyed cooking and sharing meals together there.The location of the house is excellent, with just a few minute’s walk down the street to the lake and a lovely secluded beach, and proximity within a few minute’s drive to other quaint towns, shopping, and restaurants. Our grandchildren really enjoyed the nearby Bumbleberry Acres blueberry Farm, where we picked blueberries and wildflowers, spent time with the farm animals, and enjoyed the home spun fun of games and tractor rides, etc.Our only challenge was finding the right temperature balance with the air conditioning for sleeping at night between the three floors of the house, with it being quite cold on the lowest level and quite warm in the upstairs level with the air conditioning on all night. The host was very quick to respond with some good solutions to this issue, and we were able to work through it OK. Overall, we had a wonderful stay.

Family vacay

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home was a short drive to South Haven and Saugatuck and a short walk to a very private beach! Beds were comfortable and kitchen large and well stocked. The owner was very attentive even coming out to fix a difficult door. Highly recommend.

Very Nice Property

The only reason I didn't give it a 5-star was because it said there were beach chairs for use. We couldn't find any. Or beach towels. Otherwise, we'd have brought our own. But the place was nice.

Special Place

This house has a special place in my heart. Everything about it is special. I have been coming here with friends or family since before the current owners and it is always exciting because I come home recharged, rested and relaxed. The house itself is spacious, clean and bright. The location is great - quiet and neat. There is a lovely private beach, sunset park, open backyard with a fire pit and jaccuzzi. It’s a wonderful place to create memories, enjoy nature, disconnect from everyday life and reconnect with yourself and your loved ones. This place speaks tranquility, bliss and harmony. Good property manager not the best property owners

Location is great. The house is nice and spacious. Property manager was accessible all the time even though unfortunately we had to contact her late at night at 10pm she would always answer immediately. I doubt the owners have experience with renting their property and that does leave a bit of a room for a barrier, but that might change and things will be better the longer they have opportunity to stay in the market. Having the same cameras at home, the cameras they have outside on the patio are with voice recording which doesn't really bother mee too much but at the same time I do feel a bit awkard knowing someone not present might be hearing my conversation. Thought, this also might change with time since all of our AI assistants do hear us all day to send us the perfect ads, maybe the owners use it to learn how to improve themselves 😁

Our property VRBO page and rental agreement between every guest state that there is outdoor video surveillance in use. We utilize video surveillance for the safety of our guests and our home, noise monitoring and guest quantity management only. We never listen in on the private conversations of our guests as this has no benefit to us. As you are aware, you had listed that there would be a total of 10 guests in the home for your reservation. However, we were able to confirm that there were at least 13 adults and 8 children - which violated our agreement for your stay. Due to this amount of guests - we had to request that you keep the noise down after quiet hours began and after community complaints were received. As a result of this reservation, the homeowners received a letter in the mail from the city township warning us of future repercussions for such large gatherings without prior notification to the city.

My family and I had a wonderful time at the vacation home. It provided us enough room to spend time together and have our own quiet time. Location was excellent. We appreciated the community setting. The host was attentive, keeping us up-to-date.We look forward to visiting again during one of our future family vacations. Highly recommend!

This was probably the cleanest VRBO we have ever rented. It smelled god when we walked in the door. The private beach access was wonderful and the hosts really thought of everything from beach chairs, ample towels, games and wood for the fire pit (we did not use because it was so hot) One of our favorite things was the record player with lots of classic rock albums. I think we played them all!The only negative I can find is that a couple of beds had bottom sheets and no top sheets. There is no TV in the main room so it was weird to not catch an hour of morning news with our coffee, but we weren't there to watch TV anyway.. There is a TV in the loft area but it was not hooked up. There is one in the basement but we did not attempt to turn it on so it probably worked. Those two things would not keep us from staying there again.Book this house because you will be happy that you did!!
