Fabulous location, charming cottage that is well-appointed and maintained. Views from the porch and lawn chairs are wonderful. Host was great and even allowed early check-in. Only constructive feedback is there could be more space for clothing in the bedrooms, but I believe that is being remedied.

Thank you, Larry, for the wonderful review and for staying with us. We're so glad you enjoyed the location, views, and charm of the School House. We also appreciate your helpful feedback regarding clothing storage. Since your stay, we've added two Restoration Hardware dressers and a large wall cabinet that provides substantial additional space for clothing and belongings. In addition, both the master and guest bedrooms include built-in storage cabinets. We think you'll find there is now plenty of room for clothing and personal belongings during your next stay. Thank you again for your feedback. We hope to welcome you back to Watch Hill again soon!

The School house is a very special property located next to the Ocean House in Watch Hill. You have the privacy of your own place with luxury accommodations complete with a small kitchen should you need it. The Ocean House Spa is next door, the beach is around the corner and the comfort of the school house with all its amenities make it absolutely perfect. We loved it!

We loved the entire experience staying at this beautiful property nestled into Watch Hill. The property is very well appointed, very thoughtful and detailed decor, and maximizes use of every square inch of the home. The kitchen has everything you need to entertain you and your guests in style!Check in was a breeze and Kevin is a great communicator. 2 minute walk and you are on the beach. less than ten minute walk into town with all the shops and great coffee and match lattes at Sift. Visiting Ocean House (right next door) for cocktails and dinner and an easy walk back to the house was also a highlight of our stay.Five stars all the way and we look forward to returning next time!

5 stars all the way. The School House in Watch Hill is an exceptional property, perfectly located in the Watch Hill / East Beach area. This historic home has been meticulously updated and the decorating / amenities are exquisite. The beach is just a short walk away (3 min) and the views from the house are perfect! Likewise, Kevin - the home owner and host, made the whole stay fantastic and super easy to work with (from booking, check-in, and check-out), it was flawless. Our family had the best time there and we cannot wait to get back. Many thanks for sharing this one of kind home!

Ryan, Thank you so much for the incredible review. It really means a lot that you took the time to write it. Reading comments like yours makes all of the work that went into restoring The School House worthwhile. We wanted to preserve the character and history of this special home while thoughtfully updating it with the comforts and amenities that make for a relaxing stay. Knowing that you and your family appreciated both its historic charm and the renovations is especially rewarding. Watch Hill and East Beach are such special places, and we’re always happy when guests can experience them the way we do—whether it’s the short walk to the beach, taking in the views from the house, or simply slowing down and enjoying everything the village has to offer. It was truly a pleasure hosting you and your family. Thank you for being such wonderful guests. We’d love to welcome you back to The School House anytime, and hopefully you’ll have the chance to see the next chapter as we continue restoring and improving this historic home. Thanks again, Ryan. Your kind words mean more than you know. — Kevin
