After going over your feedback with the homeowner, we wanted to share the following: - The listing photos show that the home is located next to the railroad, and it has a waterfront view with two decks to enjoy the privacy and views. We also include a map on the listing so that guests can see the approximate location of the home and surrounding area prior to booking. - The listing also states the square footage of the home so guests are aware before booking to ensure it is the right fit for their needs. - The beds are new, and they are double beds, not queen. The sofa is also new and has a queen pullout mattress. - The photos give a good and accurate description of the property, and all décor and furniture you see on the listing are as advertised. The owner does all they can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests!

The homeowner takes the maintenance of their vacation home seriously, and they have it repainted each spring. The owner works with a professional cleaner and landscaping service, and they would have made sure that any issues were immediately taken care of if you had reached out with your concerns during your stay! The owner was at the property shortly after your stay, and they have already replaced the broken chair. They are also sensitive to cigarette smoke and did not notice any odor in the home while they were there. Cynthia, our listings are carefully built to reflect our properties in an accurate light. We have shared your comments with the homeowner who has provided insight on their property. We and the owner can confirm that this home is exactly as described and the photos depict the home as it is. As noted on the listing description, the yard is fenced in. There is a gate under an arch on the seaside of the house that is the only access to the front of the house. Since it's fenced in, having a dog on a leash is a personal preference. The pathway on the railroad tracks hasn't been an issue for other guests. In fact, the owner's 98-year-old great aunt who owned the house for 60 years climbed that short path every day. The home is 1300 sq ft and both bedrooms overlooking the water have full-size beds. We do not advertise a bathtub. In regards to the kitchen, it's regularly maintained and they've never encountered the scenario you mentioned of ants in the sink. The owner sends out a letter to guests prior to arrival which mentions that there is more furniture in the basement because they don't want to leave it sitting outside. That being said, there is outside furniture available. As is also shown in the photos, the house has ample parking and turn around space.
