Kitchen was great, interior and outdoor spaces were awesome. The casita was great for us, we had an adult son along and having a separate space made the trip even better. Communication was great with the host, we would absolutely stay at this property again!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful, spotless, and fully equipped home! The photos don’t begin to capture its charm. Communication from the start was fantastic, clear, friendly...and detailed check-in instructions made everything easy. The location was perfect, just a short drive to the Santa Fe Plaza, yet it felt like a peaceful retreat in another world. I’m already missing my morning coffee on the deck or in the garden, soaking in the fresh, crisp air. Highly recommend!

What a fantastic place! From the moment we got there, the stress just vanished. Drinks watching sunset, dinner outside enjoying all the birds... just perfect. The drive to get to the house is a bit dusty and bumpy but so worth it. The beds were super comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed. We were given detailed instructions for checkin and it made everything super easy. Did i mention how quiet it was? Would definitely stay here again!

Santa Fe Getaway

Stayed in this adobe style lodge, and the pictures don’t do it justice. Awesome property and place to stay while visiting Santa Fe. Close enough for dinners, grocery stores, etc. in Santa Fe while being in very peaceful and serene environment. Owner was great to work with. Highly recommend if staying in Santa Fe!

Beautiful Home and Conveniently Located

This home was exactly as described and looked even more amazing in person as it did in the photos. It was only 3 of us in the house but could definitely see how there's more than enough space for 6 split between the main house and the casita. Thr beds were soft and the neighborhood quiet which was perfect after a long day spent in and around Santa Fe. This was just the right distance to get away from the hustle of the downtown area while being close enough to just head into town. The host was very communicative before checking in with detailed instructions well ahead of our stay and was sure to make sure we found the property just fine. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the Santa Fe area and was looking for some privacy that you won't get at some of the other rentals listed here.

Long Weekend in Santa Fe

Wow! Such a beautiful home! We stayed with another couple so they stayed in the guest house & my wife & I stayed in the main house. It was perfect. Loved the grill outside as well. We plan on returning! Thank you Francis!

If you are looking for a great house with a fabulous space for a family or group. Close to everything, but so quiet and peaceful. House is immaculate and all the things you can need.

A wonderful getaway near Santa Fe

We had a very relaxing stay at the property. It is a charming house and casita, in a very private secluded area just outside Santa Fe. The kitchen is well-equipped, the furniture is very comfortable, and the privacy is wonderful. The Owner communicates very well, and will address any concerns you have. We will definitely be coming back to this property sometime in the future.

Nice, peaceful place amongst the trees

We enjoyed our stay here! We chose it for its location since we were looking to get away from it all & have some peace & quiet (and get out of the Phoenix summer heat). This place is that! The property is very pretty w/ mountain flowers & pine trees. The house has nice architecture- tall, vaulted ceilings. It’s a good size; everything is in pretty good shape. The house is well stocked for items you’d need in the kitchen- (no shampoo/conditioner or washcloths in the bathrooms, but had bodywash & laundry soap). This is not a 3 bed/2bath house. It is a 2 bed/1bath house w/ a detached casita that has 1 bed/1bath. The 2nd bed in the main house is literally off the kitchen & has no door (just drapes in the doorway) & no ceiling (like a loft, because of the vaulted roof) - but the primary bedroom is an enclosed room. Fine for us, but for others might be an issue. There was also a refundable pet deposit not disclosed in the listing. We liked the decor of the house & enjoyed the peacefulness of the property. As the listing states, the road in, is rough - about 1.6 miles of washboard dirt road. There was also a neighbor’s dog up the street that was out loose & created a problem w/ getting back to the house when I was out on a walk. Apparently the dog being out is a common occurrence. We would stay at this place again, but if we didn’t, it would only be because of the rough road & the loose dog. Otherwise, it was great & exactly what we were looking for! Friendly host, nice place!

Perfect getaway

Francis was a wonderful host and the property was simply perfect. The location was remote enough to provide tranquility, yet close enough to the Plaza to enjoy shopping and dining. We picked this location as it was good home base for visiting the many nearby State Parks and National Historic sites. The home itself was lovely and very comfortable. The grounds were stunning with views to match. It was a perfect getaway and we would stay here again when visiting Sante Fe.

Just a perfect place to get away from the city, but still be close enough to go and enjoy all the city has to offer. If you're in the Santa Fe area, highly recommend!

Perfect Family Vacation Home

Spacious, airy, clean, has everything you might need for a family gathering. Slightly “remote”, but really not far up a dirt hill, about 3-4 short minutes. Was perfectly quiet, birds during the day, stars at night, Our family made great memories here and the host was exceptionally responsive, kind and helpful. We loved it, felt very comfortable and at home

First trip to Santa Fe

This is an amazing property to stay at. The location is extremely convenient for traveling into Santa Fe. The property is beyond beautiful and serene. Francis is a wonderful host and answered all of our questions. We are already trying decide when we will be returning to this stunning home.

Comfortable and clean

It was a beautiful property and had most everything I needed. The home felt a little on the cool side, but with lots of extra blankets around I was able to stay warm in bed and cozying up on the couch. :)

Luxe private Santa Fe getaway

If I could rate this property 6 stars I would! Our family was visiting Santa Fe for a friend’s wedding and we didn’t want to stay in the city. We wanted a semi remote place to gather. This property was a stunning oasis off the beaten path. It was impeccably furnished in a charming southwest style and we felt at home immediately. Any questions we had were answered, via VRBO, by the host within minutes. It was scrupulously clean! The outside areas were gorgeous with lovely landscaping. The “casita” (the guesthouse) was the perfect retreat for my husband and me while the rest of the family occupied the main house. We loved every minute of our stay here!

Not 5 Star

A five star property should be in perfect order upon check-in. The customer should not need to be responsible for finding issues after check-in. This property could easily be a five star rating if the following were taken care of before we checked in. The hot water to the shower in the main House took 20 to 30 minutes to warm up to use the shower. The drains in the master bathroom would not drain. The home needed a deep clean as there were many cobwebs and dust layers accumulated on surfaces. The furniture in the main house is quality furniture, but is in need of refurbishment. It was very uncomfortable to sit in because you had sink in due to lack of support. The host was very responsive and answered messages immediately. Again, this would be a five star property if the issues noted did not exist and we’re found after checking in. offering to send a plumber during our visit would’ve been an inconvenience to us and again would not be indicative of a five star property. We will not stay there again.

Ski Trip

The house was fantastic. Everything and more than we expected. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay with our family. We spent the day skiing at Ski Santa Fe then returned to spend the evening at the house. The location was relatively remote and very quiet. This would be a perfect place to stay during the summer and fall to use all of the outside amenities available at the property. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a vacation rental near Santa Fe.

Beautiful landscaping and exquisite serene, secluded home yet still close to the Plaza and area restaurants. Beautiful lighting at night for ambiance, large soaking tub 72 inches long. PLush bedrooms and wonderful nights to enjoy. Separate Private Casita for 3rd bedroom King Suite. Custom hard wood floors, pitched 20' ceiling, romantic ambiant lighting througout, full cable tv throughout, wifi, 44 inch tv, and 39 inch in master bedroom casita, gourmet, stocked kitchen appliances for entertaining.
