This was one of the most well appointed VRBOs we have ever stayed at. Every little thing we needed or forgot to pack seemed to be thoughtfully provided by the host in a well organized closet or drawer. The place was comfortable and spacious, and well equipped for kiddos of all ages, especially for our toddler and infant. We made many wonderful memories with our family during our stay, I cannot recommend it highly enough.

The lodge was tastefully decorated, and had great spaces for family & friend gatherings. It is well taken care of and the hosts have included plenty of extras to help make your stay more comfortable. The views were gorgeous and we would definitely rent this space again when we are back in the area.

Had a wonderful time at our ladies getaway! Made good use of the kayaks and paddle boards, and loved how many different spots there were to sit and chat or play games, work on projects, etc. We rent a lot of homes, and this was definitely a favorite— plus, it seemed super reasonable, for how nicely decorated, proximity to the water, and incredibly communicative & sweet the host was! My advice is to rent this place quickly and often, but make sure to appoint the downstairs queen to a sound sleeper, since, as stated, it is a Murphy bed, and also one can hear the water in pipes when the bathroom above it is in use. We all had a wonderful time— thank you Anna!

Everything was clean and beautiful. The house was better than expected. There was something for all age groups . I would recommend this property to everyone. Especially larger groups because of having the 5 bedrooms. We would stay here again.

This property is stunning and they have thought of absolutely everything in preparation for your stay. We stayed for a nearby wedding and all of us wished we had booked for an extra night because the property and house has so many activities we weren’t able to do them all. Stunning light, beautiful lake, amazing activities, and quick communication made this the easiest place to stay with 6 friends. Thank you for making the trip extra special.

A perfect place to stay! Sparkling clean & safe. Right on the lake & a beautiful well kept yard. Calm, peaceful & fun! The house is fantastic - extra thought went into the details planning for this vacation house - it has everything we needed & wanted - and more. Anna is a fantastic host. This is one of the most organized and cleanest homes I’ve rented. The hostess has thought of everything including a little basket of things you might need like a toothbrush etc. There was a very nice welcome basket and note as well. The game room is so fun and we made good use of the paddle boards and kayaks as well. Watching the fish jump in the lake and the eagles fishing was a highlight for many. It’s a quiet lake perfect for swimming and relaxing . Highly recommend this house!

We had a family get together and the kids loved the game room. The entire house is very clean and spacious! My favorite room was the family room with the fireplace and lighting, very relaxing. The master bedroom has an awesome view of the lake and comfortable bed, a great way to start the morning. Almost every room in the house has an awesome view of the lake. The decor was tastefully done. Plus it has plenty of available parking.

Our group of 10 had the most incredible stay at this lake house, and I can’t recommend it enough! Our group found this place to be an absolute gem, perfectly accommodating with plenty of space for everyone. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean and well-stocked the house was. It felt like a home away from home, with all the amenities we could possibly need. The spacious layout allowed us to relax comfortably, whether we were lounging in the living area or enjoying meals together.One highlight of our trip was undoubtedly the swimming! The lake was inviting, and we spent time swimming and soaking up the sun. The peaceful surroundings made it an ideal spot for unwinding and reconnecting with nature. Anna was great in answering all of our questions right away, and was very thoughtful.If you're looking for a comfortable and relaxing getaway with friends or family, this lake house is the perfect choice. We left feeling relaxed and already dreaming of our next visit! Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

I have stayed at many rental homes and this is the best one I’ve experienced. Anna puts on a master class in how to host visitors, and this is aside from the fantastic spot on a quiet lake.The house was in great shape and very clean. All the rooms were comfortable and nicely furnished. It had two screened-in foyers - great for enjoying the fresh air without getting swarmed by bugs. We found everything as pictured and expected, if not better. The lake and private dock were a very short walk away. The game room served as a fun and memorable way to pass time for the young ones, and everything was in perfect working order. The location offered us space, peace, and quiet.Just the above would have made for a good stay, but Anna went above and beyond to make it amazing. Plenty of spare towels, bedding, and cleaning supplies were readily available and neatly stored. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed and more. The impressive array of watercraft, recreation equipment, and safety gear were in great condition. Everything was of a level of quality you would find among real homes and personal property, not the cheap stuff that is found in many short-term rentals. Thoughtful touches continued to abound everywhere we looked.It really felt like we were visiting someone’s home rather than someone’s source of passive income. I was there with my family and everyone just loved it. If we get an opportunity in the future, we will be back.

This 5-bedroom house, Lake McMurray Lodge, sits on the edge of an idyllic lake. I’ve stayed in many VRBO properties over the years and this was the best by far.The house was gorgeous, tastefully decorated and thoughtfully stocked with everything you might need. From a well stocked kitchen to a large utility/laundry room and boathouse with kayaks, paddle boards, fishing poles & tackle and all the accessories required. The only thing missing was an ironing board and iron. When I contacted our Super Host, Anna, about this brand new ironing board, iron and clothes steamer arrived on our doorstep by 7:00 AM the next morning. Anna was attentive and helpful at every turn and was the best host I can ever recall. We stayed at Lake McMurray Lodge with ours and a friend’s family for my daughter’s wedding and all our guests were very impressed. I would recommend this place to anyone without hesitation. Thanks Anna!

Not only was Anna’s place beautiful but it was so thoughtful, from supplying us with goodies to make s’mores to having a closet full of items you can help yourself to if you forgot anything. She even went as far as displaying a welcome photo on the tv that matched our bachelorette theme. It was an easy check in process, great communication, definitely recommend booking!

The Magic 8 ball says “Stay Here”Staying at this house is different, it feels like a close friend or family member is letting you hangout, and truly left you things they thought you might need or want to use. There were plenty of towels and toilet paper, but also beach towels, and goggles, and good life jackets for toddlers to adults, and a few supplies you might need like sunscreen or a toothbrush. In the kitchen we found a wonderful welcome basket, some bottled water in the fridge, and the makings for s’mores in the pantry, along with all the things needed to cook and clean (and you didn’t feel like you had to wash everything before you could use it). All of the beds and pillows were actually comfortable. There were blackberries and blueberries for picking, and still to ripen apples. The kids in our group found the lake a bit cold for anything other than a quick jump, but enjoyed the pedal boat and fishing. They loved the game room, but also played with some of the games provided (the Magic 8 ball was a big hit!). We were there over the 4th of July, the house was decorated for the holiday, and we were treated to a community boat parade, and a competition between several neighbors for who could put on the best fireworks display. With all the space inside and outside, our group of eight was able to spread out and never felt crowded. A truly wonderful place! Thank you for sharing your home.

We had a wonderful weeklong stay at Lake McMurray Lodge- highly recommend! Space was ample, beds were comfy, and the house was well-equipped with games/supplies/equipment. Quick access to the lake was great and really defined our stay. Lastly, the location provides convenient access to Mt Baker/NCNP, San Juan Islands, and even Vancouver. Thanks for hosting us!

This is a tremendous VRBO. We just had an extended family trip and the Lake McMurray Lodge had something special for all ages. We made daily use of the paddle boards, kayaks and pedal boat. I appreciate the mix of different size life jackets. We cooked all our meals and found the kitchen well-equipped. All five bedrooms are very comfortable and Anna has extra sheets and blankets for anyone's needs. Anna has been thoughtful about supplying items such as sunscreen, water shoes and first aid supplies. The lake is a fun location and easy drive to Mt Vernon and La Connor for more urban activities. I highly recommend!
