The place is beautifully decorated and contained all of the necessary tools in the kitchen for a nice eight night stay We had a wonderful time. It was very pleasant grounds maintenance was kept the only thing that could have been better is if they would’ve cleaned the ductwork and the vent in the bathroom we have pictures of mold and dust and both my husband and I keep down with allergies, but other than that this stay was perfect and we enjoyed ourselves. The host was very communicative to the atmosphere and general overall was great. The decor was amazing. We have been to South Padre before and for sure will stay at the tiki again. We appreciate the hospitality and kindness and allowing us to share your home. It is a beautiful place.

Thank you for your review. It’s important that our customers are candid about any issues. That is one of the ways we make sure our condo is always in 5 star condition. It is the responsibility of The Tiki to keep the ductwork and the vents clean. You can be sure this issue will be addressed asap. I hope you’ll come again.

Beautiful place! Very clean and tidy. Anything & everything you need in the kitchen is there available for you. Location is great as its walking distance to the beach. My only suggestion would be that the bed needs to be upgraded. Very squeaky & uncomfortable. Other than that, perfect location & amazing experience!

Thank you for your review. We work very hard to keep our kitchen stocked and up to date with pots and pans, utensils, dishware, small appliances and coffee pots for drip and pod use. Likewise we purchased a new king size mattress 6 months ago. I will definitely have the squeaking bedframe checked and appreciate that you let us know. Please come again soon!

Comfy get away. I needed a last minute beach vacation. Came across this jewel and I am so glad I did. It was just as described and the prize was excellent. This is the time to go to Padre Island if you want to avoid the crowd. This condo has easy access on the bottom floor. A must for me and the wife and our bad knees. The place has been remodeled and looked amazing. The time the owner took to decorate it made a huge difference. It is small and cozy. Just what we needed to get away and just relax. The owner was always available from the start to answer questions. The staff at the resort were friendly and helpful. I will book this place again and I highly recommended.

The condo is perfect and beautiful. The humidifier made it so much better. Everything you could possibly need. The walk to the beach is a little bit, but no streets to cross, you pass both pools and through one parkinglot to get to the beach. If you use the cart, it is easier to go from the street because there are stairs from the tiki to the beach. This was the cleanest place I have ever visited. The bed was very comfortable. Pots and pans to cook, dishes to eat off of, even ice trays in the freezer. The shower had great pressure. There was even hand soap. The only small negative I have is the camera at the back porch, took away a little privacy, making us not take advantage of the patio as much as we would have liked.

Thank you for your wonderful review! We work hard to earn those 5 stars so we appreciate it when our customers love our condo. As for the patio camera, we’ve had things taken from the patio (a couple of wagons n lawn chairs) so as a last resort we installed the camera. We check the footage only if something has been taken, which hasn’t happened since we installed the camera. We hope you’ll come again very soon!!

Irma made my first time booking on VRBO pleasantly memorable. The communication from day 1 to checkout was top notch. The cottage provided all amenities we wanted and didn’t know we needed. The host went above and beyond to ensure we had all questions answered quickly. We will definitely stay again!

The property itself was nice and manicured. The condo is nice but small. Definitely would not have no more than 3 people, especially when sharing one bathroom. I was disappointed that the day I arrived, the pool close to the condo unit was under maintenance. The property should notify the owners so that they can notify the renters, especially when you're paying good money. Did not get to enjoy any pool time due to that the only other pool far from the unit, which was inconvenient, was always full and occupied. Overall, 4/5.

It’s unfortunate that one pool was closed during your visit. I sincerely apologize and appreciate that you were disappointed. The description of our condo clearly indicates the square footage, number of bedrooms and bathrooms so that should not have surprised you. Regardless, we hope you’ll come again.
