Make yourself at home in this 4-bedroom McAllen retreat with large round 15 x 43 above ground pool. This terrific house boasts 4 queen beds, 1 bunk bed,(with 1 full 2 twins) and 1 full bed, Perfect for families or groups of friends. Enjoy the adorable living room with fireplace and cozy sofa for extra sleeping space, pool table, and foozeball game. With 3 bathrooms featuring a bathtub and shower, guests will feel right at home. Experience what McAllen has to offer with a stay at our welcoming house. Close to many shopping, eating, and local attractions. Quiet neighborhood. Triple drive parking plus ample street parking(in front or left side 1 st street)-do not use any neighbors frontage), Large cemented patio space in back yard for barbecuing, (grill provided),storage shed, lounge chairs, firepit. There is an above ground pool with wood deck.. Exit to backyard from either dining room or master bedroom. Privacy fenced.Outdoor lighting. NO PARITES INVLOVING DRINKING, NOISE AFTER 10.Be considerate of neighbors. Must be 25 or older to book. Aboluutely no under age drinking. No excessive drinking. Prefer families or out of town workers, people who want to drink and party as I have had neighbor complaints, reports made whenever this happens.

The house was perfect for large groups. Nice pool table. A lot of bedrooms. Nice pool in the backyard. The host was extremely nice and transparent. Plenty of beds and restrooms. House had lots of things. Would definitely rent again.

The pool is clean. House was perfect for large groups or family get together. Interior is clean as the eye can see but one of the kids got cut by a broken glass embedded in the carpet on day 1. Perfect location, close to shopping malls, grocery and about 3 miles away from McAllen airport. The host is very responsive with communication.

I will have Amy thourougly shampoo the carpet, which she has brobable done. by taking them outsied sparygin soap, scrubbing, then pressure washing them down. does it every 3-4 stays. The place was great for events or big groups exactly as described, however one of the main factors in getting this place was for the pool. However the pool wasn't ready so I had to call or rather text because tbe host phone wasnt taking calls? I understand that sometimes phones act up but its really unfortunate that checking in was so hard as well. then the place was clean enough I really do think the host should get a deep cleaning service because everything looked just surface level clean.Now the pool , like previous mentioned it wasnt ready i finally mustered up the courage to contact our host, and was instructed to get the cleaning supplies to clean it. Which is wild because again they are advertising this as unanimity to use when you got there. Basically I cleaned a pool i couldn't use for my event or personal use and paid her about 600 for two nights. Im very sad about that. On the little house rules note it described that a cleaning crew comes every Friday for the pool which i feel with the condition we found that pool in someone is definitely ripping off the host. All in all it was a rocky stay. But the host herself was nice enough I just had a problem with the situation rather then her herself

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry the pool was not in the condition you expected during your stay. The pool has been maintained and enjoyed by guests throughout the year, but unfortunately the breaker controlling the pool pump tripped, causing the pump to stop circulating the water. This was not discovered before your arrival. Our regular pool maintenance person was unable to come on Wednesday as normally planned. Had she been able to come, the tripped breaker and stopped pump would have been discovered and corrected before your stay. When you contacted me, I tried to help address the situation as quickly as possible. I certainly did not intend for you to feel responsible for maintaining the pool yourself, and I regret the inconvenience this caused. I appreciate your comments about the home being great for events and larger groups and your kind words about me personally. I have taken steps to help prevent this type of pool equipment issue from going unnoticed in the future.

Perfect for large families and groups is definitely true. The house is big and nice and able to accommodate large groups comfortably. The beds could be softer, they reminded me of the beds in Mexico. On our arrival the battery was low on the keypad making it difficult to open the door. Once we made entry we found that the front door of the house (which is not the one you enter from) was not locked at all. The host did respond quickly and let us know where we could find batteries, she also told us where the key was (it wasn’t there) and said if we had any problems we could leave the door unlocked it was a safe neighborhood (ummmm I wouldn’t chance any neighborhood ). We choose this house for all that it offered yet we were very disappointed to find the pool had NO water, and was dirty and torn. The pool table was no good as the pool sticks had no tips to them, and the foosball table is loose and doesn’t work. We understand that prices have gone up and trying to save energy is good, however on our arrival the house was hot. After a long drive and wanting to just relax we had to wait for it to get cool. McAllen is hot, it would be nice if you could at least turn the air on when you are expecting guess to arrive. Would we stay here again, probably not. But if your looking for a place just to sleep and you have a large group this is the place.

I have months ago removed the pool from any listing as the guy supposed to repair it so I removed pool pics and did not advertise it with a pool or price it for that. I am disappointed in that and the door lock which was no inexpensive has had issues with batteries going out quickly. Plan to replace with defiant brand, The last guest did not respond abput whether they put the key bak. There were 2 different keys for 2 differnt doors under each a c unitl On the large unit, I never mentioned that to previous guests so that front door key should;ve been there I will have Amy check. Once again, pool was never included as some teenagers partying tore the lining and the sand underit, lining, and now bumners under to lining to cusion it more have been purchased for some time but the original builder of the pool who charged a significant amount to install has never made it bsk to redo this

My intuition told me to switch this reservation from the start and I should have listened. Not long after making the reservation, I was contacted that the listing was being extended by the existing renters so I was moved to another location at the Host’s expense. I then forwarded this to all that were staying there and it was a complete cluster trying to get this straightened out but eventually did. The biggest issue I had was that I had to “Ask” daily to have them lower the thermostat from 78 to 70. A majority of the people staying with us were from Washington state and 78 is Very hot for them. As a paying customer, I should not have to ask for the temperature to get lowered. The Host stated that a previous renter lowered it down to 60 degrees and created a high electricity bill. That is not something your other renters should have to deal with, raise your rent to offset that usage. The last item is a Safety issue, my daughter was showering my grandson and when someone else started using the other shower the water got very hot and the water valve is Very hard to adjust that he got burnt. I checked the water temperature with my hand and it was Very hot, like the have the temperature setting on the water heater set at it’s highest setting since they have three total showers in the rental and the water heater is under sized. I will never rent from this host’s rentals ever again!
