Casa del Mar is your private perch above the Sea of Cortez, hidden within the gated community of Cabo Vinorama and perfectly placed halfway between San José and Cabo Pulmo.
Here, the desert meets the sea, and the pace of life slows to match the rhythm of the waves. The modern comforts all in a setting that feels worlds away.
Wake up with the sunrise and wander down to the endless beach for a barefoot stroll. Snorkel in the clear shallows, or paddle out to surf our local break, “La Poza,” or the world-famous “Punta Perfecta.” Linger by the infinity pool as the sea glitters in front of you, or set off to explore Cabo Pulmo, La Fortuna and San Jose.
The Hideaway Loft is your private, 460-sq-ft retreat — designed for comfort & seclusion.
Inside, you’ll find two plush twin beds (or a king, if you prefer), a full en-suite bath, a kitchenette for light meals and morning coffee, Wi-Fi, a smart TV, and air conditioning for comfort. Step outside to your private terrace and desert garden, complete with a grill for an intimate evening.
Just steps from your door, enjoy the shared jacuzzi, outdoor grill with picnic table, and a stroll away the fire pit — perfect for starry desert nights. Upstairs, relax at the infinity pool and lounge area— the perfect spot to unwind with a drink or relax during the day a with a good book or enjoy your meal with breathtaking views of the Sea of Cortez.

Casa del Mar is 40-50 minutes from San Jose on the unpaved picturesque East Cape Coastal Road half way to Cabo Pulmo. You will know you have arrived when you see Cabo Vinorama entry gate. You will be met there and taken to the house which is inside the gated property.
The beach, surfing, kiting, boarding and swimming just a 5 minute walk. You need to bring experience and equipment.
Grocery shopping needs to be planned in advance. The caretaker will be there each day but Sunday.
Please consult us before you arrive to clear up any doubts you may have.
No parties or events
No loud music after 10pm
Respect neighbors and the peaceful setting

No smoking inside
Please conserve water and energy (off-grid solar home)

Throughout my life, I’ve straddled Mexico and Spain — two worlds that shaped my love for the sea, for culture, and for natural beauty. Today I live in Mallorca, yet I’m continually drawn to the East Cape of Baja California for its remote serenity and unspoiled landscapes.
