The suites are large and there is a lot of room to spread out. Basically anything you could think to need was available. The one thing we didn't find was any large frying pans, which could be needed for large groups. Multiple locations for fires; covered out door patio in the back, dining room, fire pit by the dock. Two large refrigerators in the kitchen which was really helpful. There are a lot of steps and the living room is not on the same floor with the kitchen so be aware if you have people with mobility issues. Kitchen is up one flight from the front door but there are several bedrooms, the dining room, the theater, and the covered outdoor patio on that same level once you are up there. The suite on the 4th floor is worth trekking up all the flights. It has a covered balcony overlooking the lake, a lovely bathroom, and spacious living room area. There is an alarm on the room to the pool. I didn't check to see if you can also lock it, but you might inquire if you have small children. Another thing to know is the dock in on the inlet side of a low bridge so check on this if you plan to bring a boat. Short boats can squeeze under to the main part of the lake but not a pontoon with the canopy up for example. Beds were comfortable and things like bathrooms, kitchen, and floors were clean but there were some cobwebs on things like lamps. Also two of the bedrooms had an odor but others were fine. Not sure if pets had been in those or what.
