Familier, der mødes fra hele landet, vil elske at gøre dette nådige hjem til deres base - med dage ud til touring historiske steder, havstrande, hvalur, natteliv, ture til Fenway Park, Boston, Cape, Newport's palæer. Det er altid givende at have et luksuriøst, bekvemt sted som dit hjem væk fra hjemmet.

FØRSTE GAVE: Lys foyer med munter stjerne gulvtæppe. Stor dobbelt stue med pejs og spiseplads. Topkvalitets Wolf / SubZero køkken med karrusel siddepladser. Privat hovedniveau dronning ensuite soveværelse med privat bruser badeværelse (en yndefuld rekreative skabt til det primære formål at imødekomme vores ærbødte ældre gæster og dem med en smule mobilitetsproblemer. Mens vi er mobilitetsvenlige, er vi ikke fuldt ud ADA-kompatible). Charmerende badeværelse / pulver værelse, så hovedetagen private soveværelse behøver ikke at dele sit badeværelse. Og en wraparound bondegårds veranda for nem udendørs adgang.

Anden etage: Stor dronning soveværelse med hylde seng, digital-tv, våd bar / forfængelighed, og en suite fuld bruser badeværelse med særlige arkitektoniske træk. Soveværelse med antik fuld størrelse seng. Twin soveværelse med 2 enkeltsenge og 3 dejlige sovesofaer. Vaskerum med fuld badeværelse (brusebad) væk fra gangen. (Dette hus har ikke et badekar på dette tidspunkt).

Du vil have privatliv, et smukt ophold i byen, undervurderet luksus og komfort, central HVAC i hele hjemmet, et klassisk køkken (Sub Zero og Wolf state-of-the-art apparater), rummelig stue w ildsted + fabelagtig SubZero våd bar mikrobølgeovn pantry. Morgenmad vindue sæde i køkkenet for uhensigtsmæssig spisning og kontrol email via wifi. Dette hjem tilbyder fire (i alt) komfortable værelser med kvalitet sengetøj. To af soveværelserne er "en suite" med private badeværelser. Og ovenpå mesteren har endda sin egen våde bar / morgenkøkken for en smule privatliv for et par (mens bedsteforældrene genforbinder med barnebørnene nedenunder). Total renovering gav os 3. 5 badeværelser med klassiske fliser brusere og granit bordplader. Og PLACERING ... alt i en Gårsdagens hjem kan du leje som et hotel, så du kan afspille turister uden at sidde fast i et kedelig boxy hotelværelse.

Træd ud af din dør, og 30 meter væk, et par gange om året er de berømte parader ved Thanksgiving og Independence Day. En blok ud over det er havnen og hval se både, fisk og skaldyr spisesteder, restauranter, fine restauranter, og endda frisk fanget fisk og skaldyr til at bringe hjem og grill. Historiske steder vrimler sammen med butikker, antikviteter, museer, kunstgallerier (ikke som Provincetown, men vi kommer derhen)!

Absolutely beautiful home, best equipped place we have ever stayed! Location could not be better… Literally a five minute walk to everything downtown. Robin was a responsive and gracious hostess, made for a perfect visit.

The house is very gorgeous inside. But; not so much that you feel you need to tip toe around. It was very comfortable. Great location to walk to all the shops and harbor in Plymouth and to Plymouth Rock. We took a day trip to Cape Cod. Decided to stay in town our last full day versus going to Martha’s Vineyard as we wanted to relax and enjoy Plymouth.

Excellent for a family

Wonderful experience, house was clean and well appointed. The beds were comfortable and the location was walkable to all of Plymouth Harbor. We stayed for a wedding with our family of 7 and it was perfect!

Wonderful home located right in the heart of quaint Plymouth

This is a beautiful home located in a quiet street within walking distance of the harbour and restaurants. Would stay here again in a minute. Came to visit Boston but wanted to stay out of city, fell in love with Plymouth!

Perfect family rental

My husband, son (10yr old) brother and myself all had a wonderful time in Plymouth at this fantastic rental. Location was very convenient. Home was very clean and comfortable. Hosts were responsive with communication and check kn and check out were very easy. Would definitely recommend!

We would have to agree that having a 48" wolf range with giant pro hood, stainless steel Sub Zero refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher drawers, custom armoire/wet bar in living room with Sub Zero refrigerator drawers hidden inside, plus new tile shower bathrooms all with granite, gorgeous wood floors, a wood burning fireplace, and an incredible two-story wraparound farmer's porch-- all just steps from whale watch boats and the harbor and so many good restaurants. Easy check-in and good communication are the least we can do for you! It's the gorgeous amenities we are happiest to provide for your stay. Glad you enjoyed!

What an amazing stay we had!!!!

This is a very charming well maintained home in walking distance to town. We absolutely loved it! The owners were amazing and we really felt well taken care of! I would highly recommend this home to anyone wanting more space than what a hotel room offers and also to experience some of the old world charm Plymouth has to offer. It's important to know that this charming home has been completely renovated and decorated in very excellent taste!

Thank you for the kind words. With 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths, our home is indeed more space than hotel room! And while we are on a quiet street, we are actually IN Town -- just a long block from the harbor and whale watch boats, restaurants, parks, boutiques, and antique shops. To be more 'IN town' you'd need to be sitting atop Plymouth Rock.

Living history!

Our stay at the Carriage house was perfect! Plymouth is a gem, about 45 minutes outside the big city of Boston, maintaining its charm and history. The house is walkable to downtown Plymouth and if you don’t want to walk, there is a service called Ride Circuit that will pick you up and drop you off all day around Plymouth. Plenty of things to see, places to eat, take the haunted ghost tour! The house was well equipped, plenty of towels- a beef of mine when staying for a week- spacious for 6 of us with a gourmet kitchen! Would stay here again!

Great Spot

The house was even better than the photos show! We had 2 families - one couple and one couple with 2 kids. We all had our own space. LOVE the bedrooms & bathrooms for everyone. We most loved gathering around the kitchen table. The kitchen is so nice we cooked a couple of breakfasts! The harbor is literally 4 very easy blocks away. Totally walking distance - even for us! It was a fabulous spot as our home base while exploring the area. I highly recommend!

Perfect Vacation Home

This home was the perfect place for our family to enjoy on our family vacation in July! The look and charm of the house is to die for. Robin did an excellent job decorating and everything was of top quality. The wrap around porch was the perfect spot for an early morning cup of coffee! The house was very clean, which is always very important! And the house was stocked with any extra necessities your house at home would have. The location was perfect, a nice stroll away from the heart of the Plymouth waterfront. This home allows dogs, it is always so wonderful when owners allow the renters to bring their pets and be included in the family vacation too! Robin was a great owner to rent from, very friendly, accommodating and a pleasure to communicate with. Will love to stay in one of Robin's rentals again in one of our future vacations!

Thank you for the kind words and for being our valued guests. For the record: We experimented with being "pet friendly" when we first began offering this luxury home, knowing how these little pets are so much a part of the family. Two weeks ago, a small "therapy dog" chewed the corners off a $100 decorator pillow. Our starry black wool carpet has proven to be incompatible with shedding. SO, we will perhaps continue to consider allowing a pet, BUT on a case by case basis...Four-legged best friends do things at unfamiliar houses that they (we assume) would not do at home. Please ask.

Pure Perfection!

Words can not begin to express how much my family and I enjoyed our stay in this charming house! We rented the Carriage house for my daughter's wedding. We wanted somewhere beautiful for her to get dressed in, take pictures and have her bridal party surround her for her big day. As soon as we walked in, it felt like HOME!! It was the perfect home in EVERY way! It was warm, inviting, beautiful furnished, immaculate and fully equipped with every detail. I wish there were more stars to rate this property! It is definitely a 5+++ rental!! Robin, the owner, is awesome to work with. She was very accommodating. She always answered all my questions and returned my calls and emails promptly. I had the pleasure of meeting her and she was as lovely and charming as I expected! I, of course, HIGHLY recommend this home and would love to return one day soon! Desiree C.

PERFECTION IN PLYMOUTH AT THE CARRIAGE HOUSE!

Four of us; my 94-year-old mother, daughter and granddaughter and I converged on the Carriage House. To our surprise our first night in town was Plymouth’s Holiday open house, with beautifully trimmed windows, carolers, and a marathon through town. The Carriage House was a perfect refuge from the chill after our brisk cool walk through town over to the statute of Massasoit then down to Plymouth Rock. The colors, furnishings fireplace that greeted us were the makings of a Hollywood Holiday movie set. A fully stocked, spacious eat in gourmet kitchen served as a gathering spot, as local family members dropped by to say hello to the families Matriarch, my mother. We cooked, laughed, celebrated family and the Holiday throughout our stay. It was truly magical, and I am certain never to be duplicated. Robin, was kind and helpful throughout the entire process, extended courtesies to help me manage this cross-country trek with a wheelchair bound women. The first-floor bedroom was a God send. I was asked often why would we leave sunny California in December for Plymouth. It was because there is nothing like Plymouth in the winter. First; fewer tourists, more community, beautiful landscapes, (still got my fried clams with bellies thank you), and an authentic Holiday atmosphere. I loved it. I woke like a 10 year old, each morning. I’d jump out of bed pull up the shades and peer out looking for white powder outside. We got a bit of hale, which my daughter dubbed snow pellets, and so we counted it as snow…  All in all everything from making my reservations, to entry, departure and my stay were perfect. If you are looking at the Carriage House as a possibility for a stay in Plymouth, stop and go no further. This is the place you want to stay. I promise you will be satisfied. I loved it. Our well needed break!

Upon entering we fell in love with house, the furnishings and general warmth of the home. Kitchen is totally equipped with all one needs. To say the house was immaculate would be an understatement. We wished had had booked a longer stay and will defintely book here again soon. It was perfect in every way.

Perfect in every way

This home is perfect in every way. The communication was easy, the check in process easy. Amazing location just steps to the shops, restaurants, tourist attractions. You don't need a car. The home is stunning. Everything you need, and beautiful. Chef's kitchen, wonderful bed linens, space for everyone. We had 8 people and everyone had plenty of space. Super comfortable mattresses, perfect toouches like games and cookbooks. I HIGHLY recommend this property.

Please imagine an extra star on this review. If ever a VRBO home deserved 6 stars, this is it. We have rented places in many places in the US and beyond and I have never had such a well appointed home. The kitchen alone was fabulous, and included spices, plenty of serving dishes, cookware and all other necessities. I don’t like to cook, but the wolf range called to out to be used and it was a pleasure cooking in that kitchen. This home has a Great location, is spotlessly clean, wonderful bedding and a wrap around porch with plenty of seating for family dinners outside. I could go on… but just know, this place is very, very special.

Great location!

House is in the perfect location for a young family. Walking distance to all downtown Plymouth has to offer. Shops, restaurants, arcade, ice cream, beach and playground.

Thank you, Tom. Glad you liked this fun location. There are so many good restaurants within walking distance. It's also splendid that you have a gourmet kitchen at Carriage House with 48" Wolf range, even if you are just warming up take-out. The Sub Zero freezer ice from the ice maker is a nice feature, and the additional Sub Zero wet bar in the spacious living room makes "dine in" as much fun as dine "out." Hope to see you again! - R

Excellent Hospitality

We are currently building a house that is having delays nonstop so we were looking for a place to celebrate a stress free Christmas with our family. Robin was a delight to work with and the house was incredible and a stress free paradise for our family outing The property is well maintained and the kitchen is incredible. We would strongly recommend!

Charming and convenient

We had a great time staying here and also an easy walk to restaurants and the pier. Convenient, clean, beautiful, well appointed (all the spices for cooking!). Exactly what we needed for our first vacation with blended family with our three young adult children.

Gorgeous home, meticulously kept!

I cannot say enough about this lovely home and the owners. It is exactly as pictured and better. Everything you could want in a vacation home and a very short walk to all of the wonderful things Plymouth has to offer. Can’t wait to stay at another of Robin’s properties again!

Plymouth is history. Plymouth is an important part of America's beginnings. Sometimes you have to look closely to see this history under centuries of urban progress. For example, an impressive mansion hiding under modern "upgrades" and made into offices...a textile mill mostly removed, and now retrofitted as a waterfront restaurant. And this newly renovated luxury guesthouse built as a carriage house in the 1830s, made into a home in 1920, and surviving until now to be reimagined (and almost totally rebuilt) as an exciting luxury Guest House.

Walk to historic downtown Plymouth's attractions -2 blocks to whale watch boats and harbor, 4 blocks to Plymouth Rock and the Mayflower II, 3 blocks to Brewster Gardens and its lovely park and stream. Walk to restaurants, museums, art galleries, coffee shops and boutiques, antique malls and fancy clothiers: Setting the Space, Plymouth Center for the Arts, monuments, statues, gardens, souvenirs shops, pubs, lobster and clam shacks, gourmet food, a new "gastro pub called The Tasty, and much more that you'll find when you enjoy this lovely, lively town.
