Perfect location, well supplied with the basic necessities like towels and dishes. It really is just 2 minutes from the beach. The host provided a collapsable cart that was great for carrying all our stuff to the beach. There is a convenience store directly across the street that sells basic grocery items and beach supplies. Lots of cute shops to walk around in just down the road. Woody's, down the street, was a great place to get seafood from. There is a loud train nearby, but the host provided a white noise machine that did a great job of blocking it out.

Great location and beautiful beaches! We had an amazing time, and the owner was incredibly accommodating and helpful. I would definitely go back.

If I could give Amanda and her property 20 stars, I would. Everything from start to finish was perfect. Her communication was top notch and the property is absolutely gorgeous. Meticulously clean with all the extra touches that most hosts would never think about. Snacks, coffee pods, all the kitchen equip you could ever need… even spices. The property is steps from the beach and close to all the shops and bars in town. You also have designated parking which is very important in OOB. One of our favorite areas were the two rocking chairs out front to people watch. I hope future guests respect and take care of this adorable place. We will be back for sure. Thank you Amanda for letting us use your wonderful little gem!!

Great location!

This place was wonderful. The owners really thought of everything you could possibly need. We will definitely be back. We absolutely loved it!! The location was perfect, just a short walk to the pier but far away enough to not hear all of the noise.

Review

Location was great if you want to be in the middle of all the action of the OOB. Close to Portland and many opportunities to explore. Beautiful area!

Cute place

Great first time visit to Maine. The place was clean and very close to the beach and downtown. Everyone was very friendly, we had a little trouble getting in but was rescued by the owner!☺️ Hopefully we will make it back in the future.

Great place

This property is very nice. Its close to beach and very well furnished. The only thing wrong is the shower is very small. The owners are extremely helpful and responsive.

Old Orchard

We had come to stay here for our 4 year anniversary and it did not disappoint. We loved the location, everything was within walking distance. This location is not far from many local attractions as well. The property owner was friendly, communacative, and very accommodating. We enjoyed our stay and would love to stay here again.

Mother Daughter girls vacation

We loved the little apartment and enjoyed its proximity to the beach and the pier. Within a couple miles is a Hannaford market, called Landry's which allowed us to stock the place for food. Comfortable bed, cold a/c and small kitchen were perfect for our stay, parking was plentiful and the apartment well stocked. Close to everything!! Would recommend for a short stay for a couple.

Great communication. Very clean. Comfortable bed, we slept great. As other reviews have stated you can hear streat noise (cars/people walking by talking) but got very quiet during sleeping hours. It was a plus to have beach chairs, cooler and wagon! Thank you.

Not a Motel

Loved this property because it’s a small standalone building containing a handful of rental units in a town with hundreds of standard motel units. We felt like we were the only ones there and had ample parking directly by the door. The beach was only a few steps away and restaurants were in easy walking distance.

Great Spot!

What a pleasant surprise to find this available last minute! It was less expensive than a hotel, and waaaaay nicer than most of the accommodations in the area. The communication with the owner was amazing. This place had everything we needed and more. Super clean, comfortable bed with quality sheets and towels. We also appreciated being able to park at the unit and hit the beach hours before the room was ready to check in. We definitely wouldn’t hesitate to rent this place on our next visit.

Stay was great. Great location. Clean and new. Everything we needed.Only snafu was check in qas a bit confusing. The paperwork didn't have th unit number on it, so we didn't know whi h door was ours. Great stay

We went for our 10 year wedding anniversary and had an awesome time. You can tell it has been updated recently and they did a fantastic job. Very clean and super cute. The wifi kept going in and out but owners were right on top of fixing the issue. Super close to the beach and shops. We did go on a couple driving trips to bigger name stores but could've gotten by with everything in walking distance. Conveniently stocked with everything you could need for a perfect beach day. It is right on the main street but that just keeps you right in the middle of some action and people watching entertainment while you sit on the cute little rockers. It was wonderful and we would come back again and again.

Cute studio with everything you would need!

Elissa and Michelle very readily available for any need. Newly renovated studio with store across street, beach behind you, pier within minutes of walking distance what else could you need? Bed very comfortable, shower a little small for a larger person. Can be loud at night with revving engines…. But, would stay there again in a heartbeat!!!!!

Definitely coming back!

The room was very clean, everything was updated and new. The host was not on site but I believe that would have only improved our visit! The host was very helpful and even offered to deliver anything we needed for a surprise gift for my wife when we arrived. I accidentally did not send a text with specifics about which flowers I wanted and there was a beautiful floral bouquet and a card celebrating our 15th anniversary when we arrived!

We had an amazing stay! Right after we booked, Amanda reached out to us and helped us find gluten-free food in the area and directed us to great hiking. She was so helpful and communication was excellent!The unit is like a tiny house that was decorated by a professional. It has a breezy, beachy feel. I loved the bathroom tile and kitchen backsplash so much that I took pictures to see if I could find something like them for my home. It was impeccably clean and the bed was super comfortable with high quality linens and excellent pillows. The location can’t be beat. It’s 150 or so steps to get to the beach. While it doesn’t have a beach view, it has dedicated parking (so hard to find in a popular beach area) and the best location. Food is walkable. The Arcade amusement park is walkable. You could just park and never need your car. The flip side of being super close to the beach is that you are also super close to beach traffic. It’s literally right outside your window and can get loud on the weekends. There’s also a train that runs all day and night at various times. We found the AC fan blocked out the street noise enough to have no trouble sleeping and went right back to sleep if we heard the train. We did have to keep the window shades closed for privacy, but we didn’t spend a ton of time in the room outside of sleeping and breakfast, so it was fine. We were on the beach all times of day. Loved the wagon and chairs and kind welcome snack and flowers. So special! A

We didn’t receive our check-in packet so I had to message owners. They immediately responded apologetically and insisted in giving us a small refund of 35. The studio apartment was cute, clean and very well stocked with everything you could possibly need. The door to the apartment and patio is 3 steps to the sidewalk which we were not expecting. The train was very loud early in the morning.
