"Sea Grass" House 7 Br with inground pool

The "Sea Grass" house is a perfect setting for your family reunion and other gatherings. This 7 Bedroom house is located only 2 short blocks to the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. On the closest corner there's an ice cream and hot dog stand with sidewalk seating, a giant beach store, and Molly Darcy's Irish Pub for lunch or happy hour on the ocean front sun deck, all within just a 5 minute walk.

The kitchen is located on the lower level with granite counter tops, new cabinets, full-sized appliances, and abundant dishware for cooking a great dinner at the beach. Dining seating around the table is just off the kitchen. Stackable washer/dryer located upstairs in guest room. Bed and bath linens are included with your reservation, beds will be freshly made upon arrival, kitchen and bathrooms will be supplied with paper products and hotel size soaps. All bedrooms have a flat screen TV.

Great family reunion or group space with a small private pool to dip when you have had enough of the hot sandy beach. There are rockers on the shaded front porch with views of the ocean. Sorry, POOL CANNOT BE HEATED.

Parking for 4 vehicles (mid-size) but less space if all are large SUV type. The city does offer a dozen or so local "street" parking spaces within the immediate block area, but none of these can be guaranteed because it's first come first serve basis for the public and beach goers.

*Please Note - reservation requires minimum age of 25. Groups must consists of half adults over the age of 25. Adults must be present on property from arrival date to departure date, to supervise and accept responsibility for group.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: From the moment we walked into this house we had issues. The floors was so dirty that within 5 minutes the bottom of our feet was dirty. We spent our first 2 days trying to get the different issues fixed. The TV in the room where the washer/dryer is (also has a bed) doesn’t work and they couldn’t get it to work. The pool lights didn’t get fixed till 2 days before we left. The window lock for one of the bedrooms was on the outside instead of the inside. We had shower issues in 2 of the bathrooms. This house needs to have some money out into it to make it safer. The floors has a lot of soft spots and we wondered if we would fall through some of the boards. The floor going into the bathroom from the first floor bathroom has a spot about 2 x 4 area that is ready to fall through and if you don’t watch how you walk over it you could get splinters. Downstairs there is no couches to sit on. Just 2 kitchen tables. The description of the house doesn’t tell you that the living room is on the second floor. This was a problem as we had a person who has knee issues and made it difficult for her to climb the stairs. The management company was very responsive to our issues and took care of what they could. But a lot of the issues falls back on the owner of this property. When we complained about the dirty floors the cleaning crew was sent back to the house and swept and mopped all of the house. The trash was a little confusing. It seems like once your trash is picked up that you can’t put anymore in your dumpster and are required to take it to a public dumpster. This didn’t seem right that we had to find the dumpster on other streets to take our bags. Also the big binder seemed a little much. It was like having to read a novel. I rent rentals multiple times a year and have never had so many instructions before. The back yard needs to be better maintained along with the furniture that is back the

Not what we expected

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Property was not good for families with young children. We had 14 people (6 adults) for a family reunion. The sinks clogged frequently, the dryer broke and was not fixed and looked way too small for the house size to begin with. The property managers tried their best giving new towels every few days but with children we really needed a washer and dryer. The pool was great and it is a very short walk to the beach. The dining table in the kitchen was an outdoor table with outdoor patio chairs, the place could use an upgrade on furniture. I would not recommend this place for a family vacation. I would recommend the property management company and will work with them to find a place for next year.

Great vacation

The house was clean and nice size to fit the entire family. Loved the 3 or 4 min walk to the beach and pool at house. I enjoyed how many places there were in walking distance. Our beach access had banana boating and parasailing which the family was able to enjoy both! The beach was nice and not overcrowded on the right side where we rented chairs with umbrellas. We walked to get ice cream, lunch, the souvenir shop, convenience store, and mini golf all which were a hit. Overall we had a great week and enjoyed working with owner direct vacation rentals who were very friendly and helpful.

Needs updates and better housekeeping

The location of the house is great. It’s a short walk to the beach, walking distance to Mr. G’s ice cream shop, 2 gift shops, and putt putt golf. We had 4 young teenagers and they loved this! The pool was great for the kids as well. For the negatives- the house is in pretty bad shape. The furniture is very old and worn down. The place needs a deep clean! The walls, doors, baseboards, corners of bathrooms were disgusting. The outdoor grill wasn’t clean and had to clean it before use. Also, I would recommend a couch instead of another dining room table on the main level where the tv is.

All the bedrooms with the exception of the king room to the left as you enter the home were nice. I did not feel that the home was very clean. I understand there are people in and out on a regular basis, but I felt it could have been cleaner. There were no bathmats in the one bathroom, limited hooks and bars for towels. We loved the pool at the home.

Full Week at North Myrtle Beach.

The pool was a great addition for those days we didn't feel like walking the short distance to the beach.the surrounding area was quiet and had everything we needed; from an ice cream shop to the little store next to it and the beach store not too far from there. The grill was handy and plentiful for the whole family. I stayed with my family, my brother and his family with plenty of room at the dinner tables. There was also plenty of entertainment for when we were just lounging aroind from a tv in every room to two tvs in each living room respectively.Overall it was a great experience and the perfect house for our getaway, definitely would recommend and rent again.

Crescent Beach

The house was in a great location and the swimming pool was very nice for the kids! Plenty of room in the house for a family of 14, but be sure to take extra towels and wash clothes as there is not enough. If you plan on cooking, be sure to take pot holders and dish towels as there are none. There are dishes and cooking utensils but no way to wash them off, dishwasher only. You can also hear everything happening in the house as the voices carry thru the walls, the beds make noise and the floors lets you hear everyones movement! Other than all of that, it was spacious and in a great location. Very convenient beach access, just a short walk from the house. Our family had a great time!

The beds were not the best. They were old and every single one extremely squeaky! You could not roll over or get out of bed without making a lot of noise! The bathrooms had the hard plastic shower liners that gave you a feeling of being unsanitary. I would had preferred clothe ones, where everyone was washed for next people coming in. The bedspreads on the beds needed to be updated, to give a fresher feel to the rooms. But, over it was a great rental

We choose it for the number of bedrooms, in ground pool and location to the beach!!Some furniture could use replaced such as the upstairs sun room chairs. The new table in the kitchen was perfect for our family. However the chairs were so uncomfortable . The beds are comfortable. The house could use a good deep cleaning. Let’s just say I left it much cleaner than I found it. We did not use the back yard much. It was extremely buggy outback. Overall good experience.

Positives: The pool - I thought the pool was the perfect size. It is on the smaller side. We had 6 little kids and up to 3 adults in the pool at a time and were fine. A company came out half way through the week to clean it. No pool complaints. Has new pool side furnitureLocation - perfect location to the beach and ice cream placesLarge eating areaNegatives No real family area - we had several small kids and didnt want them sleeping downstairs with door access. The pool is very small. the furniture in the house was very dirty. We had cockroaches/woodroaches or Water bugs that look like Roaches everywhere. We told them about it but noone called us back.

The house was nice. We had a few issues upon arrival but the maintenance team was GREAT!!!!

The house was nice. The air conditioner had to be replaced, the hot water heater had to be fixed, the TV’s didn’t work, the sink upstairs was leaking, the dishwasher need to be fixed. But, the maintenance crew was excellent and everything fixed within 1st days. The backyard needs some attention. The website says grill on premises, but VERY small and not cleaned (we didn’t touch ) since the maintenance team was excellent we will be back. Great location near beach, pool small but enough for 3-4 people to enjoy and relax.
