Enjoy your morning coffee with a view from the lovely furnished deck, follow the boardwalk to put your toes in the warm sand, or spend the day lounging by the community pool - the choice is yours!



What's nearby:

This gated community is located right on the ocean beach, offering an on-site swimming pool to cool you off after a day spent in the sun. Rent bikes from the local shop and explore the paths around Wild Dunes, or take a short drive into downtown Isle of Palms (four miles west) to find additional dining and shopping. The Grand Pavilion is also a mile down the road, where you can dine and shop. Or, take a day trip into historic Charleston (17 miles west) to immerse yourself in the city's rich culture and dine at some of the best restaurants in the country.

Our stay was excellent. It has way better ocean views than in the photos. Outside balcony could use some attention as far as cleaning. Unit was not ready at 4 as promised but it was ready about 415 so we had to wait. Door lock was finicky. If you’re patient you will be ok.

Wonderful long weekend

Great location

Loved the location in this gated community. We felt safe and it was quiet. Close to the beach and we could leave our stuff to come back to the condo for lunch or a break from the sun.

Great stay at Isle of Palms Shipwatch 306A

Shipwatch is perfectly located just far enough off the main drag to minimize traffic but close enough to require only short drives to restaurants and shopping. The properties are a short walk to the huge beach of IOP. We had plenty of room to sleep our 6. There is room to sleep 8, and there are three full baths. We would stay here again.

They undersold the view on the description. Great condo. Comfortable snd lots of towels! However, the keypad lock on the door is SO temperamental, I would replace it! It took us several times, waiting in between, to get in. The next time, worked the first time. Next time it took 6 tries to get in. Frustrating. You have to hold your mouth just right!Also, it would be helpful to have the correct wifi network and password in the checkin email. We didn’t know until 2nd day the the correct one was on the refrigerator. Email should direct you to that if that is where you put it. The pool fobs didn’t work. We had to flag down one of the landscape people. He said, “Oh yeah, those never work.” He gave us the code so we got in. We couldn’t get the TV to stream any movies. Error msg. Try again later. ??Great location - corner, close to elevator, close to pool, close to beach path. Enjoyed our stay despite the little frustrations.

Just as advertised. Clean, amazing condo with amazing location in a safe gated community. Will definitely book here again. You can book this one worry free. No surprises look as as nice as the pictures. Didn't want to leave it. A++

Last Minute Amazing Trip

My family and I were supposed to go to Florida and seen a hurricane coming and decided to switch to Charleston a day before leaving. We found this gem and it was perfect! Views of the ocean, short walk to the pool. Have to drive to shops and restaurants but its only 10 min down the road. Beds are a little squeaky and some reviews complained about dated furniture but it served its purpose. Would stay here again

Beautiful view from our room & family room of the ocean and sunrise. Condo could use updating, one more bedroom with a bigger bed would have been nice,, and a fridge with a water filter. Overall, everything thing was good, and we had a nice visit with family for Thanksgiving.

Inside of home was very dusty and dirty. We found nail clippings under the couch, hair in the bathroom, coffee pot was very dirty and baseboard through out home was filthy. The guest bathroom shower wasn't working properly nor the toilet. Recliner was broken, blinds was broken and air didn't cool the bedrooms very well. The beach was close by as well as the pool.

Our stay

The stay was great, the only issue we had was that it is advertised as there being a hot tub which is what we wanted the most. We were extremely disappointed that there wasn’t one. Please update the list going forward.

Very nice unit, great beach

This is a very nice end unit with a nice view of a very nice uncrowded beach. The only ding is the doors to the master bathroom. These are an example of form over function. Solid doors would be much more appropriate. All said, this is our second trip to this beach and property; we would rent this unit again without hesitation. Avoid the BBQ place at the boardwalk.

Very Nice

The condo was very nice. The only problem was the TV in the main room; lots of trouble getting the right channel with no standard channels available. It was impossible to get basketball tournament. Bedroom TV's were fine.

All TV s not working. Had to call someone to come here to fix them .Also wrong entry code to get in.

Wrong Wi-Fi information and password .all else was great.
