Enjoy your morning coffee with a view from the lovely furnished deck, follow the boardwalk to put your toes in the warm sand, or spend the day lounging by the community pool - the choice is yours!



What's nearby:

This gated community is located right on the ocean beach, offering an on-site swimming pool to cool you off after a day spent in the sun. Rent bikes from the local shop and explore the paths around Wild Dunes, or take a short drive into downtown Isle of Palms (four miles west) to find additional dining and shopping. The Grand Pavilion is also a mile down the road, where you can dine and shop. Or, take a day trip into historic Charleston (17 miles west) to immerse yourself in the city's rich culture and dine at some of the best restaurants in the country.

The place was very clean. They give you travel size cleaning products and little gift type bags in the bathroom. The beach view was great and the pool was nice and clean. The only thing I’d change would be to put a full/queen size bed in the guest room that has the biggest bathroom, instead of twins. It’s hard for adults to sleep in twin beds. Otherwise, it was great!

Clean, comfortable fully stocked unit with pool access and a beach view. Our family of five stayed over Easter and had a great time.

Our stay was excellent. It has way better ocean views than in the photos. Outside balcony could use some attention as far as cleaning. Unit was not ready at 4 as promised but it was ready about 415 so we had to wait. Door lock was finicky. If you’re patient you will be ok.

It’s frustrating to not be able to get into the condo after a long days travel. The keypad would not work. After finally finding the number to call & several failed attempts by the person on the phone, she gave me the code for the lockbox in order to get the key. The key did open the door but was consistently very difficult to get out of the lock. There was no WiFi. The name given didn’t even appear in the list of available routers. We unplugged, turned of/on, rebooted but never appeared. I sent a screenshot of list of available connections & received reply (AI?) with same name/password as in checkin instructions. I then called the number on the paper on the counter of the condo. No answer so I left a message. No one ever contacted me. One of showers had mold. Have rented many condos @ Shipwatch over the years & have been pleased. Will not use Casago as the mgmt company on any rentals, or rent this condo again. We did enjoy the view.

Great Place to Stay

Property was very clean, kitchen well stocked with dinner ware and wine glasses. Easy access to the beach. Highly recommend!

Wonderful long weekend

Group of friends who needed time at the beach. The weather, beach and condo was great. Plenty of room and short walk to beach.

Great location

Loved the location in this gated community. We felt safe and it was quiet. Close to the beach and we could leave our stuff to come back to the condo for lunch or a break from the sun.

The property is AMAZING! The location and the view are top notch and the condo is very spacious. The only low ratings were with the management company. First, we were told of the beach restoration project AFTER we made our reservation and were not allowed to cancel or even receive a discount because “we still had access to the beach”…yes if you wanted to drive a golf cart further down—and not to mention the horrible noise we had all week from the machinery. I am happy to post a video to display that. If you are visiting after this restore is completed, it will be amazing. We probably would have chosen elsewhere had we known ahead of time or had been allowed to cancel without losing our money. As it was we kept our doors shut and did not visit the beach. Next, we arrived to a bathroom that obviously had not been cleaned (we cleaned it ourselves), keys left in the lock and missing parking passes. I tried contacting the company many, many times—through VRBO and through text with just a “we’re looking into it” and never received a resolution with parking. We went to the front gate and asked if we were ok with just the pass they gave us when we came in and they let us know we would be fine—but again we had to resolve it ourselves. I really hope the owners see this as their property is amazing—they need to speak with their management company. It would be a five star stay otherwise.

Great stay at Isle of Palms Shipwatch 306A

Shipwatch is perfectly located just far enough off the main drag to minimize traffic but close enough to require only short drives to restaurants and shopping. The properties are a short walk to the huge beach of IOP. We had plenty of room to sleep our 6. There is room to sleep 8, and there are three full baths. We would stay here again.

Just as advertised. Clean, amazing condo with amazing location in a safe gated community. Will definitely book here again. You can book this one worry free. No surprises look as as nice as the pictures. Didn't want to leave it. A++

Last Minute Amazing Trip

My family and I were supposed to go to Florida and seen a hurricane coming and decided to switch to Charleston a day before leaving. We found this gem and it was perfect! Views of the ocean, short walk to the pool. Have to drive to shops and restaurants but its only 10 min down the road. Beds are a little squeaky and some reviews complained about dated furniture but it served its purpose. Would stay here again

Shipwatch 306 A

Beautiful view from our room & family room of the ocean and sunrise. Condo could use updating, one more bedroom with a bigger bed would have been nice,, and a fridge with a water filter. Overall, everything thing was good, and we had a nice visit with family for Thanksgiving.

Our stay

The stay was great, the only issue we had was that it is advertised as there being a hot tub which is what we wanted the most. We were extremely disappointed that there wasn’t one. Please update the list going forward.
