Great view, window coverings need repaired or replaced. Several little details could be better, more then 2 trash bags, more then 2 rolls of TP per bathroom, a box of tissues per bathroom.

Nice condo. Great location. Living quarters was very dusty and affected our seasonal allergies. Front room with balcony twin beds were very uncomfortable and caved in when lying in bed. Front bedroom on the left beds somewhat caved in when lying on them. Fully equipped kitchen was appreciated. Beautiful golf community. Property management replies quickly.

The place was very clean. They give you travel size cleaning products and little gift type bags in the bathroom. The beach view was great and the pool was nice and clean. The only thing I’d change would be to put a full/queen size bed in the guest room that has the biggest bathroom, instead of twins. It’s hard for adults to sleep in twin beds. Otherwise, it was great!

Thank you for staying at Shipwatch A-306 and for the kind review. We’re glad the view, pool, and little welcome touches helped you unwind and enjoy the beach. We appreciate your note about the guest room; we’ll review the bed configuration with the owner to consider replacing the twins with a full or queen for greater comfort. We hope to welcome you back to the coast soon.

Our stay was excellent. It has way better ocean views than in the photos. Outside balcony could use some attention as far as cleaning. Unit was not ready at 4 as promised but it was ready about 415 so we had to wait. Door lock was finicky. If you’re patient you will be ok.

Great location

Loved the location in this gated community. We felt safe and it was quiet. Close to the beach and we could leave our stuff to come back to the condo for lunch or a break from the sun.

It’s frustrating to not be able to get into the condo after a long days travel. The keypad would not work. After finally finding the number to call & several failed attempts by the person on the phone, she gave me the code for the lockbox in order to get the key. The key did open the door but was consistently very difficult to get out of the lock. There was no WiFi. The name given didn’t even appear in the list of available routers. We unplugged, turned of/on, rebooted but never appeared. I sent a screenshot of list of available connections & received reply (AI?) with same name/password as in checkin instructions. I then called the number on the paper on the counter of the condo. No answer so I left a message. No one ever contacted me. One of showers had mold. Have rented many condos @ Shipwatch over the years & have been pleased. Will not use Casago as the mgmt company on any rentals, or rent this condo again. We did enjoy the view.

Great stay at Isle of Palms Shipwatch 306A

Shipwatch is perfectly located just far enough off the main drag to minimize traffic but close enough to require only short drives to restaurants and shopping. The properties are a short walk to the huge beach of IOP. We had plenty of room to sleep our 6. There is room to sleep 8, and there are three full baths. We would stay here again.

The property is AMAZING! The location and the view are top notch and the condo is very spacious. The only low ratings were with the management company. First, we were told of the beach restoration project AFTER we made our reservation and were not allowed to cancel or even receive a discount because “we still had access to the beach”…yes if you wanted to drive a golf cart further down—and not to mention the horrible noise we had all week from the machinery. I am happy to post a video to display that. If you are visiting after this restore is completed, it will be amazing. We probably would have chosen elsewhere had we known ahead of time or had been allowed to cancel without losing our money. As it was we kept our doors shut and did not visit the beach. Next, we arrived to a bathroom that obviously had not been cleaned (we cleaned it ourselves), keys left in the lock and missing parking passes. I tried contacting the company many, many times—through VRBO and through text with just a “we’re looking into it” and never received a resolution with parking. We went to the front gate and asked if we were ok with just the pass they gave us when we came in and they let us know we would be fine—but again we had to resolve it ourselves. I really hope the owners see this as their property is amazing—they need to speak with their management company. It would be a five star stay otherwise.
