We used 7 bedrooms, with six bathrooms. For a school group of 14 high school students, and 4 adults, having such ample space with options for people to sleep in and bathe, made things a lot easier.
There was a nice kitchen making breakfast convenient. TVs in living spaces, pool table, and a fooseball table.
We could see the ocean from our balcony. It literally was 1.5 blocks from the house. Vieques Island allows horses to roam free, and a nice group of horses with a pony came a half a block from the house. A local pig also enjoyed saying hi. They were a hit with our group.
It was "far" from the city, walking distance, so having a list of taxi drivers, or a rental car, or a golf cart would make for transporting easier.
Going to Esperanza where the BioBay tour leaves, took only a 15-minute drive.
Black Beach, the big Ceiba tree, Navy Pier, the fort are also interesting places to see while on Vieques.
Restaurants are delicious. We tried Bili´s Restaurant which was not only great food, but had a wonderful view of the sunset on the southern coast in Esperanza.
Rancho Choly had great seafood, and chicken options, with plantain combinations.
The manager of the house met us at the door when we came in to see if we needed anything. He stayed in contact with us by messages.
