1709 East Ashley er et 4 soveværelser ~ 2 FULL BATH hjem og en af vores mere unikke egenskaber (SLEEPS 8)! Det er den mest oceanfront ejendom på Folly uden at være faktisk oceanfront! At være på den 17. blok af østsiden af øen, finder du en mere afslappende, familieorienteret og tilbagelænet strand. Med disse havudsigt og strand adgang i hver retning vil du være mere end tilfreds med denne strand hus!

"Bacon i solen" funktioner WRAP Around OVERSØGTE PORCHES fra stuen og soveværelset, udstyret med strand-tema møbler, mens du slapper af med udsigt over Atlanterhavet. Solopgang synspunkter fra soveværelse og verandaer er utroligt!

Smukke trægulve i hele beboelsesrummet. Der er et fuldt udstyret, rummeligt, underholdende køkken, der består af en kæmpe wrap around halvø med en ø! Gas rækkevidde og mere end nok counter space. Der er plads til 8 omkring køkkenbordet plus 4 ekstra barstoler i køkkenbordet. Nyd den bekvemme våde-bar mellem køkken og opholdsstue! We had a great visit. The kitchen is very well equipment and it made our family meals a fun part of the gathering. Bacon in the Sun gave all some quiet time together. Beach provides a great location for the fun.

Great house at the east end of folly on the beach. Away from bustle of center street, but very close when you want to go to the shops/restaurants.Management team was very professional and prompt helping with any of the usual bumps of a vacation rental.

Overall a good experience

A nice place to relax and enjoy. Pictures were very accurate. One of the mattresses was extremely firm and uncomfortable. That would be our only complaint.

Bacon in the sun is sizzlin’

A wonderful property for graduation weekend , we haoted our extended family and also could have several start with us as well. Right on the beautiful beach and great sunsets. Would come again in a heartbeat

bridge Run week

Being our first time at Folly Beach, the distance to the town without sidewalks and not knowing the layout of the beach, the home was a little far. The one floor layout, furnishing, porch and beach location were all perfect. The kitchen appliances were all clean and in good working order, which we appreciate since we like to cook. As a family that rents VRBO, we have a few minor recommendations. a sun filtering blind over the kitchen window, the afternoon sun in April was intense and hot, I can only imagine it in the heat of the summer update kitchen counters and baseboards, there are areas of missing pieces tubs were old and the one in the 2nd bath was very worn, making it appear dirty, also bugs in lights in 2nd bath.Knowing these homes get used quite a bit, the home was in good condition.Thank you

Great house, Great Beach

House was exactly as described. Had everything we could possibly need. Kitchen is very large. Very nice that bedrooms can be closed off from main living area. Access to the beach is great and view is fantastic. Weather was poor for us but the house allowed us to take advantage of nice spurts since the beach was right beneath you. Fantastic property

Beachfront Vacay!

Great Family house!! We loved our stay in this spacious home. The kitchen was huge and equipped with anything you might need, including separate wet bar. Great views of the beach and ocean from the living area as well as the large deck area. We especially loved that the master was separated from the other bedrooms. We stayed with our daughter and son in law and their three kids 6 and under. This house was perfect!

Amazing location!

Amazing beach front location. We liked being further down Folly where it was especially quiet. There is a home in front between you and the beach but plenty of ocean views. Well stocked kitchen for cooking. It is a loved beach home with some wear, but clean enough for two families with young children. We would come back!

Wonderful accommodations

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bacon in the Sun! We have young children and everything was perfect about this house: access to the beach, the supplies and amenities in the house, the cleanliness, the spacious living areas, and the large kitchen! It was the perfect Beachy House and a great getaway. The beach was quiet and not crowded. We easily walked to the end of the island with the lighthouse. We found shells galore. Space and proximity to the beach were great! Great outdoor furniture with plenty of comfortable options! Bacon in the Sun

This large bright rustic house is on the beach but has a home in front of it, however there are windows on all sides with great views of the ocean. The master bedroom does not have an adjoining bathroom, but its a few steps away. There is another larger bedroom and room with twins that share a bath on the other side. The beds in the twin room are very uncomfortable, and my kids had to sleep on the couch because of this. The kitchen is large with alot of room for different family members to prep, but water pressure in the sink was extremely low. There is a separate wet bar area, next to large family room, with an electric fire place that says "do not use" on the switch. The family room opens out to covered unscreened deck/porch which has steps leading down to beach. There is a small weber grill under the house and an open outside shower. This house has alot of potential but needs some investment to get to outstanding. Response from MOR: Thank you for your review and feedback. We are so glad that you enjoyed the great views! We had a blast!!

We had eight "senior " women at the red house " Bacon in the Sun". Except for the stairs on arrival and a little uneven tripping hazard on the porch level we absolutely loved our beach house! We had plenty of room and took advantage of the beautiful ocean views from both outside and inside. The bathrooms had separate "water " closets so that was helpful for so many.The kitchen is well equipped and has separate prep ( with another sink) at the bar area. There are plenty of closets and places to store. The dishwasher needs to be replaced at some point but it works. The beds and bedroom were good no one complained. One thing to watch the tile floors in bathrooms are very slippery when wet, be careful😉 The house is a bit dated but that's what gives it that beachy charm. Large open living area with lots of natural light. The entrance to beach is just down the steps and between the two homes in front. It's only three miles back to " town " if you need some supplies. The beach is wide and very level, great for walking or riding bikes. We're already making plans to go again next year and we would definitely stay in the "red house" again! Perfect location!

My husband and I stayed in this lovely beach cottage for 2 months and truly hated to leave. The home itself reflects the causal beach vibe that makes Folly Beach so special. A fully stocked kitchen, plenty of room and storage, gas top cooking, Jennair griddle, cute beach decor, amazing beach facing deck with shaded and sunny options and beautiful adirondack deck furniture are just a FEW of the great features. This spot provides direct beach access and views of kite-surfers and the beautiful beach. Ocean Rentals was extremely responsive to a few maintenance issues that arose and even responded to non-critical issues after hours. Way above and beyond. Amazing

Simply amazing. Well equipped and very comfortable home. Location can't be beat. Host was very pleasant to work with and extremely accommodating. We were aware of home in front of house however we were very pleased and surprised how much more oceanfront view we had. We'll definitely go back. Highly recommended.

Great Location - House needs some updates

We all loved the location of the house - just steps from the beach and on the end of Folly Beach close to the light house. The outside of the house looks great, but the inside needs some major updates. From MyOceanRental: Thank you for your review. Sept Visit

The house itself was as shown in the photos and it was basically beach front with just one house between it and the beach but about as close as you could get to the ocean. Only issue was when we checked in the cleaning crew had done a poor job and the management team told us they would come back that day but never did. They also left the trashcan totally full under the house and no one ever came to take that out until 3 days later. We also called about wasps but no one ever came. The house was good but the cleaning crew was not. Only comment on the house is that if you have elderly or handicapped people the showers are hard to get in and out of because they are both tub showers. For younger people this would not be an issue. One big positive is the location is great because it is at the end of the beach so not as crowded and tight as the place located near the main section.
