The Toes in the Sand Duplex brings you all the modern comforts of home. This home is located just a short jaunt to the beach where you can soak in the sun, build your favorite sandcastle, ride the waves, or all of the above! This cozy, little cottage makes for the perfect getaway. Pack up your suitcase, your smile, and don't forget to bring along the two family dogs! This two-bedroom, single-bath beach cottage includes a fenced-in backyard, perfect for kids and pets.

Your primary bedroom offers a peaceful night's sleep with a queen bed, a ceiling fan, and a flatscreen Roku TV. The second bedroom provides two twins with a ceiling fan. Your bathroom offers a shower stall where you can soak in the steam and wash away all your worries. Enjoy a home-cooked meal in the cozy kitchen/dining area. Or relax on the sofa in front of the flatscreen TV. The free WiFi will ensure everyone stays connected and happy, and you can upload your favorite memories to your social media or research a fun new outdoor adventure to try out tomorrow! For the vacation of a lifetime, all you need to bring is your bathing suit and beach towels - we'll take care of the rest!

Great place!

This was a great little property. Exactly as described and the perfect space for a quick beach trip for our family of four and our dog. It was clean, had everything we needed, and the backyard was such a nice feature with the dog.

Very quick and easy stroll to beach access. Amenities and size perfect for small family or a couple. Really enjoyed our stay, and would love to rent out both A/B Units together in the future and bring the whole family and the dogs!

Get Away

Property was good, it had everything we needed. Loved the fenced in yard my dog loved it. It was a good feeling to know that I could let him out in the back and not have to worry about him wandering off. Would stay again without a doubt. I have never seen a sink as small as the one in the bathroom but we managed.

Great place to stay!

Our family (and dog!) really enjoyed this place. Very clean and comfortable. It’s an easy 5-minute stroll to the beach. The neighborhood is friendly and quiet. The kitchen is very well stocked with pots, pans and cooking tools. The dog bowls were a nice touch, and we appreciated the fenced backyard. The drawbacks include a single shared bathroom, no dishwasher, and no washer/dryer. But for our smallish group who stayed for three nights, none of these were issues. We hope to come back soon!

Perfect for Us and our Fur Babies

We had an older dog that could not do steps and this place was perfect for him. He could get in and out, easily go to the fenced in area, and walk with us to the beach. Our younger dog loved having a back yard and being on the beach. My husband I were able to relax without worrying about the dogs. Will be returning to Atlantic beach and hope this is available.

Great time

We had a great time. We were there to find a house for we are moving to the area. The only complaint that I have is that other VRBO‘s that I have stayed in, have had stuff like sugar, coffee, powder creamer as well as other complimentary items. It would be nice to have items that are not very expensive that everyone would need in order to stay in and eat instead of eating out every meal. This isn’t a complaint but merely a suggestion that we would have liked to have.

Nice little place

Cleanliness could have been a little better. Location excellent. Not enough towels for us for the time stayed. No washer or dryer but we knew that in advance. That would have been nice!

I wanted to love it, but...

The location is great and it is a cute rental, but while taking a shower, having just put shampoo in my hair, the hot water disappeared completely! I don't pay this kind of money for a place that doesn't have adequate hot water and I cannot recommend it because of this.

Thank you for your review, Mary Ellen. We are very sorry you had problems with the hot water during your stay. This home is part of a duplex; if all guests take back-to-back showers simultaneously, the water in the water heater may run out. We recommend guests spacing out showers if possible to give time for the water heater to recharge. Again, we are very sorry for this poor experience and hope to have another chance to better impress you on a future visit.
