Spend your days soaking up the sun on Oak Island's pristine beaches, fishing from the iconic Oak Island Pier, kayaking the Intracoastal Waterway, or exploring the charming waterfront shops and restaurants of nearby Southport. Take the ferry to Bald Head Island for a memorable day trip, or tee off at one of several nearby golf courses, including Oak Island Golf Club, Carolina National Golf Club, and The Lakes Country Club.

After a day of adventure, return to your home away from home and unwind in the thoughtfully decorated open-concept living space. My family and I really enjoyed our days at Oak Island. I grew up in Southport, but haven’t lived there for a long time. I still have family in the area, so we were able to reconnect and have some great times. My favorite feature was that my fur babies were along for the fun! Thanks for your hospitality!

The Golden Oasis was perfect for our group of 3 couples! There were lots of towels for each couple. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes and cookware as we cooked breakfast every morning and made cocktail hour snacks before going out to dinner. They had a beach wagon that we were able to use. Beds were very comfy too. The location was walking distance to local restaurants, stores and the beach! We would surely book again.

Relax and spread out with your family

This property allowed our 3 families to spread out & not be on top of each other all the time. We had a blast & enjoyed the quiet neighborhood that was close to all that Oak Island offers. The kitchen was well stocked with all the things we needed for food prep & serving and the appliances were updated. The decor of the house gives off a cool minimalistic vibe that was very comfortable.

Golden Oasis

Pictures on vrbo not updated, house needs a lot of work and was not clean at all dog hair every where. Eight of us and every crowded for us to try and watch movie. Grass had not been cut dog poop everywhere gtill was disgusted and fire pit has no bottom. No place outside to sitI would not recommend this house

Fun family getaway

This home was great for our family vacation. It was very clean. The kitchen is perfectly appointed. Having an upstairs living area and a downstairs living area was perfect for the family to spread out and our daughter loved the bunk room. We loved having a fenced in yard for the dog. When we arrived the grass in the backyard was very high. I communicated with the property manager and within a day or 2 they sent someone out to mow the grass. The only downside is the road you need to cross to get to the beach is a bit busy but it's still an easy 10 minute walk. The house is centrally located and within walking distance to many different shops/restaurants etc.
