Resting Nest

Great location and support - had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. Very private location only steps from the beach. Hot tub was great too!

Convenient place to stay!

Convenient to beach, shops and restaurants. Hot tub was enjoyable. Loft area does stay pretty hot so fan would be needed to be comfortable. Nice outdoor area as well.

Great location!

House was clean and in the perfect location. Just up a small dune to the beach. Close to restaurants and stores. I highly recommend this place!

Fantastic house and location!

This house is great. Right on the beach in a quiet neighborhood; it’s exactly what I and my partner were looking for. The listing is very accurate regarding the rooms and living areas. Also, there are plenty of stores within minutes of the house. I highly recommend staying here.

Summer 2024 beach house Piper's Nest.

House was very nice; well located on the beach with easy access over the dunes. This is our second stsy in the Outer Banks and we especially liked this house.

OBX

We loved the location and space. The decor is relaxing. We loved the outdoor decks. The walk over the dunes is short and the beach feels private, natural and beautiful. Outdoor shower was a plus

Great location

We stayed at Piper's Nest during Thanksgiving and everyone thought the house was very clean and well-maintained. The kitchen was well-stocked with pots/pans for cooking meals. The top deck was a great spot to read and the kids liked the covered porch for board games, and of course the hot tub. The close beach access was a plus. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect. Avon is our yearly family vacation destination spot lately and pipers nest just may be o...

The last house on the street, closest to the beach! Right next to the beach walkway!! Plenty of room, TVs, and well equipped. Loved the boogie boards available! This house is on the ocean side, the beach is spacious enough to spread out from other beach goers. The hot tub was HUGE. Loved the outdoor shower, foot wash and multi level deck! If you love the OBX, stay here.

Awesome Avon beach house

Our family loved our OBX vacation house here in Avon. The beach was so close, our guys surfed at the break right in front of the house. Our kids played in the sea, and we made memories of a lifetime. Vacasa was very supportive during our stay and communicated with us promptly.

Over all it was great. One of sliding doors very hard to open. Dining table needed to be cleaned.

Lovely house

This house was perfect and by far one of the best beach houses I have stayed at. Our family of 5 fit with room to spare. The hot tub wad larger than expected. We loved that it was nestles away from neighbors view but still offered a view of the ocean. Can't wait to come back.

30th birthday trip

This was the perfect little place for us to stay in the OBX. Everything was clean and you could see the beach from the top deck. Everything worked in the kitchen ( we went to food lion and cooked almost every night ) Everything in the description was correct. The hot tub is out of this world! I will be staying here again!

Great location

Vacasa had workers tearing up sidewalks and replacing them four days of our stay. It was very disruptive, interrupted naps and really took away from the relaxation. Everything else was fantastic!

Great stay

We had a great week at Piper’s Nest. We stayed here with a family of 5 and it was the perfect size. Our two teenage girls loved the loft area! The location was perfect. It was quiet and there were plenty of restaurants and shops close by. The beach was just over the dunes which was amazing. The only thing I wish we had access to was some beach equipment. There were no beach chairs or beach towels available. The house was clean, comfortable and well maintained. We had one minor issue with the tub faucet not turning off fully and the Vacasa team was very quick and responsive and had someone there to fix it almost immediately. We were overall very happy with our stay and would definitely stay here again!

Lovely Spot with a beach view

Wow we loved the house! What a great location and layout. We also loved the vast amount of deck space and hot tub. Beautiful view of the stars. There were plenty of towels and dishwasher soap and washing machine tabs. Wonderful location and we liked the modern looking living room, loft and that there were books and beach gear provided. The home does need some updating and maintenance, but overall was a pleasant stay. The bathrooms are on the small side but the bedrooms and closet are a good size. Overall it felt clean and pleasant. Some minor negatives - there were toothpaste splatters all over the bathroom wall, the blowdrier was stored touching the toilet plunger. The modem and router in the master bedroom has bright blinking lights - If you like to sleep in the dark like we do, bring a sleeping mask.

Family Vaca

This home was comfortable, clean and spacious (4 adults, 2 kids at the house). It was a short, easy walk over the dune to the beautiful Avon beach. If your not familiar with the area you should know it’s a pretty big dune (my kids call it “dune mountain”). But my kids both 8 and under walk it just fine with all their stuff! We liked having 2 separate eating spaces - the kids enjoyed the nook in the kitchen! Kitchen appliances were up to date for the most part. Bedrooms were clean and spacious with comfortable beds. The bathrooms were on the smaller side but fine. We brought a small fan for the kids bunk bed room which was helpful to keep cool airflow. Lots of storage and space for beach stuff. We loved the house and look forward to our next visit!
