Our original house had plumbing issues and relocated to another house. Upon arrival, there was a handyman there working on the house, actually installing a lock on the front door, the house really wasn't ready to have people stay there. I also believe the quality of the house we were relocated to was not as comparable to the one we originally paid for. I will be seeking some version of a refund.

The house smelled so good when we got in. Rooms were comfy. 2 of the tv’s don’t work but that didn’t matter too much to us. Home is secluded away from other homes so there was no concern of noise complaints or anything. Lots of parking space and overall a great place to have friends over. Will definitely book again !!

Do not book this if you haven’t seen it physically. Property has broken down car and appliances at side of house and four wheeler in the house and insects present in the house and smelled awful. Trash in dirt driveway. House looked to be condemned.
Side of house with steps that are rotten and door barely locks
Trash with drug paraphernalia in driveway and not mowed
Broken appliances and car in driveway of house

We’re sorry to hear about your experience, Lynell. However, this review does not fully reflect the circumstances of your stay. We make every effort to address guest concerns immediately, but we were not given the opportunity to resolve any issues during your stay despite being available and responsive. Communication is something we strongly encourage so we can ensure guest satisfaction in real time. Regarding the vehicle mentioned, it was temporarily parked on the property and has since been removed. It did not impact the interior or functionality of the home. Additionally, the concerns about cleanliness and condition are not consistent with the standards we maintain or the experience of other guests. That said, we have still taken extra steps to inspect the property, complete maintenance updates, and ensure everything is in proper condition. We remain committed to providing a safe, clean, and comfortable stay for all guests and welcome constructive communication so concerns can be properly addressed.

Check in could have been communicated properly. I’ve never had to ask how to get into a house before. Directions were not given until check in time. This should have been told prior and it would have been fine. Needs a little updating inside. Outside needs a lot of updated and I’d recommend adding a pic of the outside to the listing so guests know what they are pulling up to. But over all it was a good stay

Hi Katie, Thank you for your feedback—we truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. My apologies if the check-in process felt unclear. I do want to clarify that VRBO automatically sends a check-in email prior to arrival that includes the property address and access details. Most guests typically use Google Maps, Apple Maps, or another navigation app for directions, so there wasn’t any indication in our prior messages that additional directions were needed. Had that been communicated, I would’ve absolutely made sure you had everything step-by-step ahead of time. That said, I understand how clearer communication can make the experience smoother, and I’ll definitely take that into consideration moving forward. I also appreciate your notes about the property—updates and adding an exterior photo are things we will review to better set expectations for future guests. I’m glad to hear you still had an overall good stay, and we’d love the opportunity to host you again with an even better experience next time.

We booked this home for a special event with 9 guests traveling from multiple states. Prior to arrival, we raised concerns based on a previous review and were offered a backup property, which we accepted. However, we were not able to access that property until 1.5 hours after our scheduled check-in time, and communication during that delay was extremely poor—calls and messages went unanswered. When the host finally responded, we were given inconsistent information about the delay. We were then placed back into the original property we had concerns about. The condition of the property did not match the listing in multiple ways:Exterior appeared abandoned (overgrown grass, moldy siding, boarded windows, uneven driveway not as described) Cleanliness issues (floors were visibly dirty—walking barefoot turned feet black, surfaces not properly cleaned, dirty dishes left in dishwasher) Missing and inadequate amenities for 9 guests: Only 4 towels Only 2 coffee cups No bottled water as advertised Ice machine not working Coffee maker provided but no coffee Keurig pods provided but no Keurig (despite confirming this prior to arrival) Thermostat not functioning properly Minimal supplies (only half a roll of toilet paper per bathroom) These issues significantly impacted our stay and required us to adjust plans for a special event. The combination of delayed access, misrepresentation, lack of cleanliness, and missing basic amenities made the property not fit for use as advertised

When we first pulled into the yard, my first thought was “you have got to be kidding me, I know this is not it”. The outside of the house needs a LOT of maintenance. The yard/driveway had a large pot hole with a few large rocks or cement chunks in it so you could see it and not sink your car in it. The trash can on the side of the house was full and over flowing. We got there right at 4:00 and we got a message that the cleaners were not finished and needed 20 more minutes, but we were already there. They pulled up a few minutes later and we waited outside while they finished. My grandson stepped in the pot hole, which was also filled with water, and got his shoes and socks all wet. We asked about the trash on the side of the house and was told they told they would come back to haul it off later that evening or first thing in the morning. Several emails were sent and promises made to get the trash. When we left Thursday morning the trash was still there and animals had started pulling in it. Inside the house there were a few cosmetic things needing to be done, but for the most part it looked like the listing. We couldn’t get all the TV’s to work because they had the wrong remotes or the remote didn’t have batteries. The bedrooms didn’t have trash cans and the kitchen didn’t have utensils and only one Christmas coffee mug. So we went out to purchase the things we needed. We also had to purchase towels and wash cloths because they didn’t have enough, and cleaning products.

Hi Vickie, Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. I sincerely apologize for the issues you encountered, especially with the yard, pothole, and trash situation—that’s not the experience we want for our guests. I also understand how frustrating it must have been to wait outside for the cleaners and to have to purchase essential items like towels, kitchen utensils, and coffee mugs. We’re reviewing your comments carefully to address the maintenance, cleaning, and stocking of supplies so future guests won’t face the same issues. I appreciate your honesty, and your feedback will help us improve the property and the overall guest experience.

Parking was okay since we had grass but a big thing is the outside of the home honestly, when i got here i thought it was abandoned because of the look of it, there were people outside doing construction & i hadn’t received a checkin code and it was well after checkin time, the maids who was still there had to help me. I really liked the cleanliness and the smell of the home but they could use a few more kitchen appliances like a can opener for instance and measuring cups the rooms were all clean and tidy and i appreciate that the host provided drinks and cups i had a goodnight for the most part but you do get what you pay for! I would book again though honestly with some work
