Charming Rustic 3-Bedroom House with AC and Spectacular Views
Quaint and quirky craftsman in the heart of Union City!
3 bedroom, 2 bath house is front and center in Union's downtown. Moor your boat at the Hood Canal Marina, grab a bite at The Hook and Fork, pick up some ice cream at the boutique Union Country Store, and then relax at home as you take in the beautiful views of Hood Canal and the Olympic Mountains. Catch the breathtaking sunset from the front porch, while listening to seals bark and waves lapping the shore.
The house is located off State Route 106 in Union. Built in 1909, this is one of Union’s first homes. I’ve updated it with modern comforts, while maintaining as much old world charm as possible.
The house is two stories, with 3 bedrooms upstairs and living area, kitchen, and dining room on the main floor.
Each room is equipped with a ductless heating/air conditioning unit.
I supply whole bean coffee and a Keurig, along with tea and a few complimentary snacks.
The house is just across the street from the public Hood Canal Marina, 2 Margaritas Mexican Restaurant, the public Main Street beach, The Hook & Fork restaurant, and the Union County Store. There are also other restaurants and pubs nearby. Grocery stores and additional dining are 15 minutes away in either Shelton or Belfair.
In order to reach the house, there is a large set of stairs that must be climbed or descended depending on where you park. If stairs are a challenge for you, this may not be the most suitable home for your stay.
Guests will have access to a key located in a lockbox in which they will input a code provided to them prior to their scheduled arrival.
-Before booking, guests must read over and acknowledge the rules I’ve set for the house. It is my pleasure to host your stay at this house, however, rules must be respected and followed so that I can continue offering it.
-There are quite a lot of stairs, both inside and outside the property. The external stairs can also be icy in the winter months, so precautions should be taken.
-Cellular reception in Union is terrible, but maybe that makes for a nice escape from the city :) However, you’ll be able to stay connected with the WiFi at the house.
- I allow dogs on this property. If booking with dogs, please read rules about pets.
-The interior doors do not lock.
-Gas fireplace is currently not functional.
-I would also like to note that the back yard is a work in progress, one I am hoping yo tackle in the near future.
