It was a very nice peaceful place to stay. The extra pole barn area was great. The owner was very nice and show us around the whole ground. Couple of tips bring bug spray and you might like to bring off road riders. So many trails.

We had an amazing time! The view of the water was spectacular especially later in the day. The inside was clean and well decorated. It was so cute. We really enjoyed being outside, there can be some road noise but wasn’t too bad. We enjoyed the pole barn activities. Kitchens were well stocked so we could cook easily. Got a tour of the trails and it was so fun.

This was such a great location family friendly with everything you need to have a wonderful time. The kids had a blast playing games on the patio. The host was wonderful can’t wait to come back again and enjoy family time!

Plenty in the area to do a few of the parks about 1hr 45min north provided excellent hiking opportunities.

This was a fantastic rental! The host was amazing-met me at check in and walked thru home. She was very responsive with any questions we had. Property was clean and so much better than pictures showed. Hosts have thought of so many special touches and had so many games for our family to enjoy. Pool table, air hockey table, giant connect 4, golf tic tac toe and so many more. Lots of movies to chose from also. Kitchen was so well stocked with cookware. Definitely recommend for a fun family get a way-we hated to leave!!

Such a lovely place in the woods to spend our spring vacation! The thoughtful extra touches throughout ensured our family was comfortable and well entertained. The kids had a blast in the barn playing pool, air hockey, and darts - then at night we enjoyed watching movies from the extensive dvd collection and making s’mores from the supplies provided. The house and barn were extremely well stocked and clean. Probably the best cabin we’ve rented through our years of annual spring breaks checking out different Indiana state parks. Would definitely stay here again!

Pictures do not do it justice. Everything was exceptionally clean. We cook homemade every day so, the kitchen area is very important and this one did NOT let us down whatsoever. We look forward to staying here again! Though it was a bit chilly during our stay, so we couldn't take fukk advantage, the outdoor area is beautiful and would be great for family gatherings.

We loved our stay at Pine Oaks. The rooms were clean, the kitchens (both in the cabin and the pole barn) were well stocked and had everything that we needed. The property is beautiful. Our dogs loved the pond and walking the trails that were in the property. Our kids (mix of young adults and teens) loved hanging out in the pole barn and playing all the games. There was air hockey, pool, giant connect four, battle toss, and several board games to choose from. The property is close to Greene Sullivan state Forest and Shakamak State Park. When we weren't relaxing at the cabin we were hiking. There is a town about 10 minutes away so you can easily go grab anything that you might have forgotten. The hosts responded immediately when we messaged them and were very helpful and friendly.

Our visit to Pine Oaks cabin was perfect in every way! Deloris met us there and showed my 4-year-old granddaughter the “secret room” and from then on she was in heaven! We don’t live close to each other, so our stay at the cabin felt like being at home together. There were board games, movies, a fire pit and a whole game room to enjoy! We could have stayed a week and not run out of things to do. The attention to detail was flawless and everything we needed was right there. Every room was a beautiful and comfortable space. And having a little one with us, we appreciated that it felt like a fun as well as safe place for her. 100% recommend!

We will definitely be repeats at this wonderful cabin located near Linton, Indiana. The property owners were absolutely wonderful, communicated with us instantly, were so very accommodating, friendly, and just really sweet people that went the extra mile to make our stay was fantastic! The cabin was adorable, the property was beautiful and the pole barn was fun! We did not want to leave, but all vacations have to end, sadly. I absolutely loved the extra effort that Deloris put into the cabin with labeling certain items, which made it so much easier to find things! The cabin and pole barn were fully equipped and the only thing we really needed to bring with us were food and drinks! All around 5 star (Thank you again Deloris and Brad)

Everything was wonderful during our stay. Both the cabin and poll barn had every thing we needed from linens to pots and pans. Our family of 4 didn't even need to use two of the beds. Very comfortable for large crowds. The 2 1/2 bathrooms came in useful. The decor inside the cabins must have taken some time to accumulate and it felt like home.It was very hot during our stay and we didn't explore as much as we thought we would, the kids stayed very entertained indoors with the endless amount of games and movies. The covered back patios made it easy to stay cool in the shade and enjoy the view of the lake. The Air conditioning worked like a charm during the how summer days.During our stay we check out sculture trail which exceeded the kids expectations and ours. Hundreds of exhibits and a fun drive to get to. Lots of hills.Everyone in town was very nice. The bowling alley was a fun activity to beat the heat. #1 Asian Buffet was great. You gotta check out Hometown Bakery in town. Smokin Pete's was terrific. Gooseponds Pizza was some of the best pizza we ever had. Sullivan Park and Lake was also fun during our visit. Kids cooled off swimming while I was killing it fishing. The owners did a great job communicating with us and making us feel welcome. We would definitely come back again, well worth the value and tons of things we didn't get to explore because of the weather. Great job to the owners !!!
