Welcome to our peaceful city retreat. Enjoy a charming brick street in Schumacher Place, featuring:

You'll arrive and park on the street in front of the home - ample parking is available and no permit is required. You'll be greeted by a charming front porch and enjoy easy access to the home with a keypad lock on the front door.

First Floor:
You'll enter into a cozy living room, where you can choose to engage your mind with a game of chess or relax and enjoy some tunes on the Bluetooth speaker. The living room flows into the dining area, where you'll find a 42" TV and can sign in to your own streaming accounts. The dining is open to the kitchen, which has an airy feel with its high ceilings and skylight. The kitchen is stocked with most things that you'll need for basic cooking and a Keurig coffee machine is available for your morning brews! The downstairs 1/2 bath is just off the kitchen.

Basement/Laundry:
There is a washer and dryer in the basement, which we will make available for guests staying 5 nights or longer (the basement door will be locked, but we'll provide the code for stays of 5+ nights).

Second Floor: Enjoy two bedrooms, each with a queen bed. The rear bedroom has a lovely little balcony with a seating area overlooking the back yard. The recently-updated full bathroom features double-vanity sinks and a custom tile shower, and is accessed from the hallway.

Outdoor Space: It's a backyard oasis! The dining room and kitchen both have doors which will lead you out to the deck, with a small table and seating for two - perfect for a morning coffee or an evening meal. And beyond that - you can't miss the hot tub! The back yard is fully fenced.

Accessibility / Other Notes: There are several steps (about 7) required to get inside the house.

The hot tub is serviced weekly by a company called PoolWerx. They will come between 9am-6pm on a weekday (M-F). They will use the side gate to access the back yard and will not need to access the house. If you would like to be notified of when they will be coming, just let us know and we can do that!

This home is located in the Schumacher Place neighborhood of Columbus. It's just steps from Skillet (a popular brunch and lunch spot), a 10-minute walk from Schiller park and Schmidt's Sausage Haus, and a very short drive to Nationwide Children's Hospital (or a ~15-minute walk).
