Kick back and relax in this tranquil, stylish recently renovated villa for two. Ideal for a romantic getaway and for those who are looking for peace, quiet and privacy.
Situated in a secluded enclave consisting of five cottages, located on the outskirts of Panajachel, 5 minutes by car or tuk Tuk, this place is truly heaven on earth. Take in the most spectacular sunsets of Lake Atitlán from your bed or the spacious front balcony.
The space
Located just outside the bustling village of Panajachel, you'll find total peace and tranquility at this romantic villa. As the name denotes, the sunsets from this completely renovated house perched on an outcropping are unparalleled as are views of Lake Atitlán and its surroundings.
The property offers lake access via dock which is shared amongst five cottages which comprise this secluded compound. The dock is located down a stairway (approximately 80 stairs in total). There is parking for one vehicle. While there is lake access, please note that there is no beach per se. The entrance to the lake from the property is rocky however It does provide a beautiful place to take a plunge, especially in the morning when the lake is calm and the water is crystal clear.
• Spacious covered terrace complete with huge sofa/daybed, dining table, hammock and chaise lounge chairs
• Fully equipped kitchen
• 64" smart TV
• Gas grill
• Strong internet connection
• Concierge service available to arrange a variety of services and amenities such as ground transportation, private cook, lake tours by private boat, massage therapist, etc.
Other things to note
As part of new regulations inacted by the Guatemalan tax authority in January, 2023 (Acuerdo Gubernativo 245-2022), all businesses are required to submit an official government invoice for all sales in excess of Q.2500; failure to do so could result in a fine for the hosts (i.e. property owners).
For citizens of Guatemala a tax ID # or DPI number is required along with your name. For all non-Guatemalans a passport number along with your name is required in order to issue this official government invoice/receipt.
We are aware that you were required to provide this or similar information to register on Airbnb, however the hosts are not provided with these details.
