Destin West Pelican 402: Amazing View To Lazy River!

Welcome to Pelican 402, a modern and cozy condo located on the bayside of Destin West Resort in Fort Walton Beach, perfectly positioned between Destin and Fort Walton Beach for easy access to both. This one bedroom, two bathroom retreat comfortably sleeps up to six guests with a king bed, queen sofa bed, and a bunk room with twin beds, making it ideal for families. Inside, you'll find a fully stocked kitchen, in unit washer and dryer, and wifi. Step out onto the balcony to catch breathtaking sunsets, relax on the 700-square-foot lazy river or in one of the seven pools that Destin West Beach & Bayside Resort has for guests. You can easily access the beach and Gulf side pools using the pedestrian bridge. When you're ready to explore, you're minutes from top attractions like Wild Willie’s Adventure Zone, the Boardwalk, and the Gulfarium. Dining options abound with local favorites such as The Gulf, Stewby’s Seafood Shack, and Old Bay Steamer just around the corner.

- Bayside: 4 pools (Waterfall Pool, Wading Pool, Osprey and Heron

- Gulfside: 3 pools (1 Large, Covered Pool & Childrens Pool) and 1 Hot
tub.
- Outoor heated pool, heated seasonally.
- Picnic tables and charcoal grills for guest use.
- Walkable distance to Okaloosa Island Pier and weekly fireworks in the
summer.
- Walkable distance to restaurants, shops, and activities.
- On the Gulfside, you'll find the stunning Emerald Green waters of the Gulf of America, while on the Bayside, the Choctawhatchee Bay offers marina life, fishing opportunities, and a marina just steps from your door.

Destin West Bayside is located on Okaloosa Island in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, along Miracle Strip Parkway SE. The Bayside section of the resort sits directly on the Choctawhatchee Bay, opposite the Gulfside condos, and offers easy access to both bayfront amenities and the pedestrian skybridge that connects to the Gulf beaches.

Important Note:

Wristbands are mandatory at Destin West Beach & Bay Resort.
I provide the exact number of wristbands based on the guest count you enter on your reservation.
The Guest Confirmation Sheet is required for all reservations.
I send this sheet through email, and it must be completed with the names and ages of all guests.
If I do not receive the completed sheet, I will leave only the number of bands that match your reservation.
If you need more bands later because the Guest Confirmation Sheet wasn’t completed or the guest count wasn’t entered correctly, there is a $50 trip fee for delivering the extra bands.
I do not charge anything extra when the sheet is completed and the guest count is accurate.
If you’re unsure, simply complete the sheet — it keeps everything correct and avoids any extra trips.

Please note: Our condo is updated little by little to keep everything fresh and comfortable for your stay. Because of this, some décor or small details may look slightly different from the photos. We’re always improving the space, but we can’t take new pictures every time something changes. The overall layout, quality, and amenities remain the same, and we hope you enjoy the upgrades.
