The Space:

Private and perfectly perched on the white sand and blue waters of the Pacific, this Oregon Coast retreat will spoil you in no time. Boasting three floors and four accommodating bedrooms, there will be plenty of room for everyone to spread out in no time. When you want to grab a bit of fresh air, the deck will be just the place to sip a morning coffee or evening cocktail as you watch the tide ebb and flow. The second floor will be the hub for entertaining the whole gang, as the full kitchen, living room, and dining areas seamlessly lead together making the perfect space to mingle as the chef of the group whips up a tasty meal. The lower floor is home to two bedrooms and a full bathroom. The other two bedrooms, including the main suite, are located on the third floor. The main bedroom contains a king bed, desk, and ensuite bathroom complete with a deep jetted tub. When everyone wants to settle down for the night, free WiFi and multiple flatscreen TVs await for streaming favorite movies and shows. After a long outdoor adventure, you'll love soothing your tired muscles in the private hot tub!

This house was wonderful! It has the most amazing views, the hot tub was fantastic, and the master bedroom had the most phenomenal view. It was spacious for a large group and had most everything we needed.

The amenities listed a game room, fireplace. However, when we got there, we did not find a game room. And the fireplace said not for guest. Not off to a great start. The icemaker machine was broken. Did not like the 10 AM checkout time.

The house was great! Beautiful views, fully equipped kitchen, fun hot tub. A few maintenance distractions. Overall a great place for my kids and grandkids to enjoy the beach for a couple days

Great for large family

Check-in was easy and efficient. Great location and layout for a large family giving everyone their own space. No real outdoor furniture to be able to sit outside and enjoy the view and watch whales. Topically things looked great but there was a lot that could be much improved on cleanliness wise. I let the management company know so hopefully it's been taken care of!

Wonderful home for a beach stay

The home is very nice and clean, quality furniture and it's decorated so beautifully it feels like a home. Rooms are large and plenty of space for a big family, and there's many separate places to hang out. The bedrooms are spread out and give you plenty of privacy. The kitchen is stocked with anything you'd need. We only had a few small issues. The front door digital lock had issues and wouldn't accept our code. We contacted customer service and it took a long time for them to get back to us. They couldn't fix the issue, so they sent a message to the property manager, who got back to us immediately and fixed the issue. We finally got in, but due to the customer service delay it took an hour. She told us they were waiting on a new lock to arrive. The freezer in the kitchen refrigerator would not open all the way and the temperature was so low it wouldn't freeze. Some of the storm door latches in the master bedroom were rusted and wouldn't close tightly, so when it was really windy they constantly banged against the frame. The outlets in the master bedroom bathroom worked, but any time something was plugged in there was a hum coming from the electrical lines behind the wall. The property is on a high cliff, so even though pictures might make it seem beach accessible you will need to walk a few blocks down to the public beach access. The trail is a not too steep but would be difficult for those with mobility issues. We'd definitely stay here again, we really liked it!

Beautiful Views

This house had ample room for 2 families to stay together and be able to take space and have our own quiet times. With window seats and large dining table and kitchen we enjoyed the heart of the home with the gorgeous ocean view! The master suite was amazing! Walk to the beach access was just down the road. Also, enjoyed walking around the neighborhood. We all had a great time!

Nice with minor deficiencies

Overall this was a very nice place, however, there were numerous deficiencies not normal to other properties. These deficiencies were listed and left in main room. Some deficiencies include light bulbs out, lack of Kleenex tissue, controls for vanity lights and spa tub in master bedroom, etc.

Another Just Us Girls Beach Trip

We (4 ladies - 1 age 80, 2 in mid 70’s, 1 in late 50’s) enjoyed our time at Surf and Sand. It’s a very cozy house with wonderful window seats to watch the ocean. The décor is fun – many antique pieces in master bedroom and lots of books to read. We would like to stay here again on our next JUGS (Just Us GirlS) beach trip.A few suggestions to make it perfect for us:You may want to consider getting more wine glasses. There are only 3, which really isn’t enough for a house this size. Flatwear - Lots of knives and soup spoons, but only a couple of teaspoons, and not many forksHeight of kitchen counters is for very tall people, and even tall people would have a hard time reaching the bowls and small plates in the cupboard. Only 1 of the 4 of us could reach these essential dishes. Maybe a kitchen ladder??There were only 5 wash cloths in the house – not enough for 4 bathrooms (we looked everywhere). There are many bath towels and hand towels.A few maintenance needs:There is one broken leg on each of two of the dining chairs. We moved these chairs to the small sitting area by entry door so no one would sit on them, and so you would know which ones need to be repaired.The drain plug in the sink on the right (facing the mirror) in the master bath is broken and needs to be replaced. Also, the Jacuzzi tub faucet leaks/drips constantly.The bedroom downstairs (left as you face ocean) has a sour, mildew smell. It could be the carpet that is very stained.

Surf and Sand

Great house for a girls trip, medium to larger group, or family, as it has separate areas for kids and adults. For a larger house, it was remarkably cozy feeling - which we loved! The kitchen was well equipped, and the very comfortable and large window seat between the kitchen and family room was used constantly! The Primary bedroom upstairs could have been used as an additional family room should it be necessary, and the window seats in there are also prime viewing seats! We loved this house and are planning on making it our go to rental for each time we visit Lincoln City!

Girl’s weekend

This is the 3rd time renting this house and will definitely rent again. Love the location and sleeping arrangements (no bunkbeds). Nobody in their 50’s wants to crawl into the top bunk.

Great for multi- age group

View: 5 stars. Comfortable bedrooms: 5 stars. Enough space for people to be relaxed and not on top of each other. 4 full bathrooms is really convenient! Kitchen is well stocked- built for tall people though! House had everything we needed and it worked great for young adults up to elderly grandma. Unfortunately the beautiful fireplace is off limits to guests.

Very disappointed

Choie this house for my mother's 90th birthday, one of the few that had enough bedrooms and bathrooms for my daughter and her twin boys my mother, husband and I. had the view and a full kitchen for cooking family dinners. The view was perfect! The house was filthy the floor was so dirty our feet were black, there were 3 broken glasses in the cupboard garbage disposable had broken glass in it. The host did come the second day and clean the basement had suck an awful smell that my daughter and grandsons could not sleep in the room, we left a day early and checked into a hotel.

Beach Stay

2 doors to the deck would not work. One was closed and held with a tie down strap which to me is a potential hazard in case of fire. The stove and countertop is taller than standard. Our friend had to stand on a step to stir her chili. The cooking utensils pots and pans are pretty tired and should be refreshed. The knives were so dull we had to go buy new ones. The carpet has lots of stains and should be professionally cleaned or replaced. The upstairs shower head (not the main bedroom) should be replaced. Should have instruction on how to lock the front door. The entry needed to be swept and cleaned up as it’s the first impression when you start to enter the home. Location is great

The most breath taking veiw of the ocean

So all in all this was an amazing stay. The tubs downstair could use a scrub. There some dishes that were tidy as well, but all in all it was super fun.

WOW!

Such a beautiful house and gorgeous view! We had such a wonderful time even though the oven wasn't working and the downstairs toilet wasn't operational. The hot tub was fabulous!
