The Space:

Escape to Little Nest and experience a relaxing getaway out of this world! Offering fun no matter where you are (indoor or outdoor), this dog-friendly retreat is just perfect for your next family escapade. Take advantage of the private gas grill on the patio and surprise your friends with delicious grilled meals that you can enjoy at the picnic table. Inside this secluded retreat, you'll find two inviting living areas (only one of them has a flatscreen Smart TV), a fully-equipped kitchen, a bedroom, and a full bathroom, all on the first level. There is a gorgeous telescope available, which means you'll get to admire the surrounding area from a whole different point of view.



The upper level offers a convenient bedroom and an office with a desk and a desk chair. This is the perfect office-like setting, especially with the home's free high-speed internet and WiFi.

Family Stay

It was a nice space and was able to keep it warm. Check in was easy and simple. I do wish there was extra blankets because it did get cold. The location is right off a curve in the road which was a surprise to us. Another odd thing was the shower only had half of it covered so water would spill onto the floor. We did see some ants on the floor as well. Overall, it was a fairly nice place.

Cute and private

It was a super cute house BUT could use some more cleaning. Not terrible but I had to wash all the dishes before I used anything, bots of dirt and hair under beds, and spider webs. The kitchen only has 2 pans and they aren't the best. Wifi service only and it's pretty glitchy and couldn't get the tvs to work. I know it sounds like it wasn't a good stay but it really was! We even extended our stay and we'd absolutely stay again. Beautiful yard!!! Beautiful home 💞

Disappointing, ignored by property manager

I had a terrible experience going to this property. It is very very far out in the middle of no where, close to nothing - and a long drive in from Tillamook honestly. The listing wasn’t quite what I got either, it felt cold and empty and soulless with no fenced in backyard - back door screen fell off upon opening and couches/beds felt stiff. I tried reaching out to the property manager about losing my cat there when checking out; my cat had to stay in the car the entire night because cats apparently are not recognized as living or matter at all to Vrbo (even in an emergency situation) and he ran out when I opened the door and I never was able to find him. :( I tried reaching out multiple times to Vacasa, requesting a response… to help me find my 12 year old cat who was my baby, had him since 8 weeks old :(. A hispanic lady took my call, had terrible bed side manner, was rude to me, could barely understand her - said that she would contact her manager to contact the property owner (along with the maid - cleaning lady who showed up while I was looking for my cat who I gave my number to). No one bothered calling me back; i left another message and sent an email and received no response. Called all the shelter, have drove back to check a few times but didnt want to disturb the guests. Dont come to this property - you’ll regret it. And its overpriced for what you get - get a hotel you will enjoy it more., Sincerely, Lost Cats Owner

Perfect Little Nest in a perfect location

This house was absolutely perfect for us and our dogs. Comfortable beds and both living room and family room sofa/sectional were equally as Comfy! Perfect little fire pit out back and huge picnic table. They have a metal expandable dog gate that you can put up that worked perfect for us! VERY private back yard area. Less than 10 minutes to Pacific City and 20 to Lincoln City. FAVORITE food and adult beverage spots for us were Sportsman's Pub in Pacific City and The Beach Club in Lincoln City. The French dip with mushrooms and onions at the Sportsman was INCREDIBLE! and at The Beach Club the Beach Balls with shrimp, cream cheese, mushrooms, bacon...... DANG!

Vacation

This is was a great house. Fit 4 comfortably and a dog. Wifi was the only phone service. Overall a nice place but a ways from town.

Okay stay... little disappointed 😞

Was a little disappointed that I couldn't use the garage like the pictures show. I brought kayaks but was not comfortable leaving them just lying around so had to load and unload which was exhausting. The house is also located on a curve of a busy road where cars are zooming by so getting out of the driveway was a challenge. There was absolutely zero cleaning supplies so even a spill we had to drive 40 min to the nearest grocery. The wifi is extremely weak and the remotes only worked half the time, plus there was a ton so distinguishing the ones you need was annoying. You can only run one t.v. at a time or it buffers nonstop. The house phone rang nonstop with telemarketers. The pond which was a waterfall at one time was not clean, dead frogs, and tons of mosquitoes which made the back yard not usable. Other than that Oregon was beautiful and I will be returning just not to this home.

Family trip July 2022 - visit Grandpa John

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is very cute/rustic looking. Had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Loved the location - close to Pacific City and our dad. And property management was very responsive when we had TV issues - turned out to be operator error. Would most definitly rent again.

Pretty nice place to stay

Little Nest was overall a pretty nice place to stay. I did find a cat locked in an upstairs closet… there was no evidence that it belonged there; so I took it outside. We had our dog with us so leaving a cat in the house wasn’t going to work. The house was clean and neat. If you plan on cooking make sure to bring everything with you. There isn’t much in the pantry. It is right on the highway so be aware of that if you have kids or pets.

Great, Cozy stay!

My Partner and I had a great and relaxing weekend! Great and cozy spot in secluded area, and only about 10 min drive from the beach!

Nice, quiet place but over priced and needs a couple repairs.

I thought it was a nice place, not far from the ocean. it was quiet and pretty clean. If it wasn't over 700 dollars for two days I would give it 5 stars. The beds are really not very comfortable, especially the upstairs one. The star wars tv room was awesome. Kitchen was nice, living room, bathroom and dining room all really nice. The pellet stove doesn't work, which it did get pretty cold in the night. The back screen door fell to the ground when I tried to use it. The waterfall that was going to be so nice to sit near and listen too, is not working. The "high speed internet" is awful. Some rooms its better than others but in the bedroom I couldn't even play Pandora radio on my phone. I get that its kind of remote so i cant expect the speeds i have at home but that was pretty slow, i could barely check my emails and respond for work. I would have used my phones hot spot but no service. If these things all worked I might have given it 4 stars, but they are "selling points" for the rental. Just needs some repairs and a couple updates before I would say its worth that price.

Little Nest a Big Hit

The property was very nice. Clean and neat and had everything we needed for a nice quiet week. Only complaint was bathroom faucet screen was plugged so hardly any water flow through faucet. Not a big deal tho. Thanks for the opportunity to enjoy the area. We will keep Little Nest in mind for future visits. Bob & Sherry

Close to pacific city

Relaxing place. Need to mention there’s no AC unit upstairs. Overall it’s close to shopping/beach. Dog friendly which was a plus.
