The Space:

Perfect for a few couples or a small family, this dog-friendly home provides standard conveniences such as a an outdoor firepit in a fenced yard and an excellent location in the heart of town. The spacious and well-appointed kitchen makes it easy to put together a tasty pre-beach breakfast. After dinner, spend some time around the backyard firepit roasting s'mores or just basking in the warmth of the fire. The enclosed yard is great for dogs who want to run around!

Situated a quick quarter-mile from the beach and just a few blocks from the shops and restaurants of central Rockaway Beach, this home makes it easy to explore everything the area has to offer. Spend an afternoon combing the beach for interesting artifacts - if you head south, you'll eventually come across the highly photographed Twin Rocks, which lie just offshore. For those looking to go a bit farther, Lake Lytle is just over one mile to the north. Go for a hike in Twin Rocks County Park just under four miles away, or head 13 miles south to Tillamook and tour the famous Tillamook Cheese Factory.

The house was charming! We had a wonderful time. We loved the close proximity to town and the beach. We could walk to everything. We are looking forward to staying in this home again!

Great place to stay with my family. Plenty of rooms and bathrooms to go around. The place was tidy with everything we needed including shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. I will say the living room smelled like dog pee. I don’t know if an accident wasn’t properly cleaned up, but I would get a whiff of it while watching TV.

Beautiful beach house

We were so happy that this house was bigger than we gathered from the pictures on-line. There was plenty of seating for everyone Everyone had a fabulous time staying here. We enjoyed time around the bonfire and grilled our dinners. Will definitely be back.

Convenient spot, cozy accommodations

We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean, cozy (love the decor!), and has everything you’d need. It was a perfect spot for a quick beach getaway, just a short walk to the main street in town and the beach. There was just enough room in one bedroom for our girls’ pack n plays for sleep, and liked having the fenced in backyard for our dogs. We would definitely stay here again!

Excellent location and a well equipped home

The weather was lovely for a weekend at the beach. The location is so close to the beach and the train stop for the weekend steam train. We enjoyed s’mores around the fire pit and having a nice kitchen to cook in. Would highly recommend this property!

Family Vacation

Drove from Utah to Rockaway for a lovely family vacation. The location is within walking to the grocery, shopping, most importantly the beach! The house was clean and the backyard has a grill and fireplace we used multiple times. Strong recommendation! A great place to relax

Family Beach weekend

Great location. Perfect size for family of 6 or 3 couples. The house was very well stocked with everything you'd need away from home. We would rent again.

Cozy beach getaway

Great place for family group or friends. Less than 5 min walk to easy access beach. Well stocked with items. 3 bedrooms with queen beds and 2 baths. Large open area for living/dining room, overstuffed chairs in separate sitting area and kitchen. Nicely decorated and fenced backyard for our dog. We would stay here again.

The home was immaculate, cozy, comfy and over just fabulous. We could walk to the beach, have a bonfire in the backyard, it was so comfortable and roomy. We would stay here again.

Beautiful house and location!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Rockaway house. It is lovely and comfortable, the yard was great for the dogs, and the beach was so easy to access. Rockaway Beach is also easy access to all the neighboring towns. Our stay was 3 weeks and I would definitely pick this house for my next trip.

Quaint House

Quaint updated house a short walk to the beach. The kitchen was well stocked, plenty of sheets and towels in the bedrooms and bathrooms. A comfortable stay!

Great place and cute backyard

This property was just a couple blocks from the ocean, small shops and a few restaurants. We walked to the beach a few times and typically stopped at Ricks on our way back for a snack and beer. Kitchen is very well stocked. All the spices and equipment you would need to cook a meal in. We got dungeoness crabs and feasted for dinner. One thing I’d ask the owners to update is the bed in the master room. It is very wiggly and creaks a lot.

Great beach town vibes!

Stayed at the “dolphin” house with friends in Rockaway Beach, OR. Home was comfortable for 3 guests and a dog. Close to shops and restaurants. Walking distance to beach access. Will absolutely stay and book again!

Wonderful beach retreat

This is a great spot for a beach getaway, the house has been recently redone and updated (note that the images you find on google maps are outdated and the house now looks like the pictures in the ads [although the Oregon coast isn't frequently as sunny as those pictures :) ]). The space is really well laid out so that a large group (6 of us and 2 dogs) easily fit into the relatively small house, the kitchen has lots of space and plenty of comfy spots to relax. It is just two blocks walk from the beach, as well as the little boutiques, restaurants, and small grocery store of Rockaway. Only tiny downside is the very early check-out time of 10am. We will definitely try to book this place again for our next beach visit!

Great House

This house was everything we were looking for. The modern updates to the interior were a fresh surprise. The fully fenced backyard was great for our dog. The check-in/check-out process was easy and painless. I will definitely look to stay here again whenever we come back to Rockaway.

Rockaway Beach Cottage

Nice updated cottage. Cute decor, efficient floor plan, well equipped kitchen, nice backyard with fire pit & chairs. Close walk to beach. Don’t love Rockaway Beach town but beach is big and clean and not crowded. Nice place to stay if you mostly plan to spend time at beach and at the cottage. Limited restaurants, no nice shopping.

Older home with issues.

No railings on front and side steps. Guest shower was not working and sink stopper wouldn’t lift. We replaced the frying pans (2) because they were unusable. Washing machine smelled of mildew so we bought stuff to clean it. TV had no instructions so it didn’t work. WiFi not very good. Dropped off a couple of times a day. Neighborhood nice. Decent backyard for dogs.

A great getaway with a cozy yet spacious atmosphere

We really enjoyed the house. It's supper light and has enough open area to feel spacious, but the TV area gives a nice cozy place to huddle in and read or watch a movie. Our one suggestion is to get a firmer mattress (the master suite is an absolute marshmallow!) and a less creaky bed frame (if you move around at night you're likely to wake your partner). It was an easy walk down to the small Rockaway shopping area and beach, which is very convenient.
