This is a wonderful place to stay in the Iowa Great Lakes region. The location is close to our family's cottage home and we can easily come and go from our family reunion.

It was a great place to stay. It was in the more quiet area of Bridges Bay, which was nice. Backyard was fairly private and didn't back up to any other cabins. Nice open living space to gather.

Property was clean and priced to the market. The letter waiting you at check in was not welcoming at all. It was rule or limit after another. I do not remember any mentioned of quite hours in the listing. Then all the talk about parking when there is 5 spots available which is more than normal. Overall things went well.

Thank you for your review and for choosing to stay with us. We appreciate your feedback regarding our Welcome Letter. Our goal is to provide guests with important information that helps ensure a smooth stay while also protecting the property, but we understand that a warmer, more personal welcome would make a better first impression. Regarding the parking-we have had groups that bring boats and that takes up a lot of parking space and I have had to stop by and ask people to move their vehicles off the grass as there are several water sprinkler heads that can get broken when driven over. We have over 15 years experience with property management and the rules/guidelines in our letter are there for a reason. Our property listing is designed to highlight the home and amenities, while our Welcome Letter includes important house guidelines to help ensure a safe, comfortable stay for all guests and to protect the property. We will review our information to see if we can better set expectations while keeping the information clear and helpful. Thank you!

Whirlwind weekend..

While we weren’t at the cabin much, as we were in town for a wedding and all the associated events, while there, it was very comfortable. We arrived to a nice clean place. Comfortable beds and furnishings. Plenty of parking for our three vehicles. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful stay!

Location was close to the water park and the lake. Property was clean and nicely furnished. The air fryer was a great amenity, but lacking a few kitchen supplies we wish were there. The water pressure could have been better but overall we would stay here again!

Wonderful Okoboji Home

This cabin/home was perfect for us! We had other family staying within a couple of blocks and they all raved how nice this home is. We had ample room to spread out and the layout was perfect. Clean, newer upgrades, furniture felt like new. This is definitely a place we would like to rent in future visits to Okoboji.

The floors were FREEZING! Obviously it’s meant for summer accommodations and it would be a great place to stay. Wear thick socks or keep shoes on in the winter and you’re fine.

Nice kitchen and entertaining area

Loved the cabin overall. Pros big kitchen, private patio and yard, comfortable beds. Cons: Bed shams and comforters should be washed which they state they do not wash between guests, kinda gross. No beach towels provided, other cabins have always provided them in past years.

Girls weekend

This cabin is wonderful!! It was so clean and inviting, we enjoyed it immediately. The beds are comfortable, there’s plenty of seating in the open floor plan. Kitchen is well stocked with lots of open space in the cupboards for your own food. We spent a lot of time on the private patio. We had 5 women for a long weekend and the only issue we had was not enough mirrors when we were all getting ready, definitely not a deal breaker! We hope to make this an annual event!!

Wasnt expecting cleaning assignment

First, beds were not as listed. We specifically picked the property because of a trundle bed, we a had a child with us. Nope, not there so i went out to buy an air mattress. Also, had no idea that despite the originally disclosed cleaning fee, i would be threatened with additional fees if I didn't start the towels in washer and strip the beds. If i was given this info PRIOR to cancelation date, it would be ok. But i did not get these assignments until the day before check-in. Also, host made s big deal about booting us out if they received noise complaints during quiet hours, 10pm till 8am. No problem for us, but the last night we had a big party going on behind us, till 2 am. When i messaged the host at 10:30 to ask how a noise complaint can be initiated, i never got a response. So it was a tough night for us. The property was nice and clean when we arrived, so good that.

This was a perfect place to stay during our son‘s annual soccer tournament. We were close to lots of other families who also stayed at BB. I felt like our house was a little fresher/newer inside and more spacious than other homes we visited on the property. The owner/manager was super nice and responsive too!
