The Cabin
Completely remodeled in 2022, the warm and welcoming 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath log cabin comfortably sleeps up to 12 guests and features:

We had an amazing stay at The Rec Farm! The property was peaceful and quiet, yet there was still so much to do. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, and the host did an excellent job of communicating with us. The arcade barn was a super cool amenity and unlike anything I’ve seen before, that and the pickleball court are perfect for rainy days. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a private, peaceful getaway, that still has so much to do.

The property is beautiful. It was a nice getaway with family and a fun time playing games in the barn with the kids. One recommendation, the pans need replacing. They were pretty scratched up. That can cause health concerns and misproper cooking of food.

We stayed at the Rec Farm for a short family stay for new years 2026. The cabin is cute, the long drive way into the property is nice, the cabin sits back away from the main street. I have 2 teen boys that enjoyed the Rec building; although it is not connected to the main house and it was below freezing all weekend. Inside, the cabin was ok; it was a smaller than I expected from viewing the pictures, but enough room for our family with 3 bedrooms. One of the bedroom windows did not stay closed and it was freezing. We did call our host and she was very responsive and came over while we were out to tape do a temporary fix on the window and provided a floor heater for the room. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

It was a great time we had a 15 guys from different states all meet up there to have a calm and relaxing bachelor party. We never had to leave there was so much to do at the house fishing, corn hole , ping pong and arcades! All the guys kept saying how wonderful the place was and they all have awesome memory’s from this house! It really made for a perfect weekend

Our family had such a wonderful time staying at The Rec Farm! We honestly wish we could have stayed longer. It was so peaceful, beautifully set up, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Our kids absolutely loved it and didn’t want to leave to go back home—which says it all! This place was exactly as described and the quiet, beautiful views made this a wonderful stay! We also had a great time in the rec barns, playing basketball, arcade games (there are 100s to choose from within the console!), great karaoke system and poker table setup, although it was used for rummy station lol We did not get to the pickleball courts, but that is only because it was a heat wave when we stayed, felt like 110 degrees. But we looked at the courts and they were in like new conditions! The pond view off the back deck was perfect way to start and end the night! Hot tub was a plus!! We didn't have any issues, but the owner checked via message to let us know if we need anything to reach out. We will definitely be back!
