This is a very unique stay in a train car and that is exactly why I booked it. It was as pictured, filled with period furniture and a claw foot tub, but all the modern conveniences, including a small hot tub on the deck. The location is amongst the other Whistle Hill train cars that have a restaurant and bar, a coffee/waffle place, gift shop, and more. It sits right off the Sterling Highway and while you can hear the traffic occasionally, we didn't really notice it and the nights were very quiet. Parking was right in front.Everything was very clean, in fact we could still smell the cleaner when we arrived, and it was comfortable with excellent bedding and towels. Loved the coffee maker with complimentary coffee from the coffee car and creamer in the fridge. Braedon was very responsive with a couple questions I had - really appreciated that. The price was a bit more than we have spent for other, larger, BnBs in the area but we appreciated the unique accommodation and the location for its proximity to "downtown" Soldotna and my inlaws home as well as being able to walk up to Addie Camp for dinner or a drink.
