Driving Information: Mountain View Log Cabin is located "up Tanner's Ridge" in the Skyline Lakes subdivision. The drive follows a scenic gravel mountain road with winding curves, elevation changes, and beautiful overlooks that many guests enjoy stopping to photograph. During spring, summer, and fall, most standard vehicles, including sedans and compact cars, can access the cabin in normal weather conditions. However, very low-clearance vehicles are not recommended, and guests uncomfortable driving on gravel mountain roads may prefer an SUV or AWD vehicle.



November–March: A 4WD vehicle is required due to the possibility of snow and ice. Mountain weather can change quickly, so please plan accordingly.



Trash: There is no trash service in the area. Guests can take their trash with them, or the house manager can remove it for a $5 tip per bag.



Firewood: Firewood is optional at $10/night. If you don't plan to use it or prefer to bring your own, just let us know, and we'll be happy to refund the charge.



Pets: Dogs are welcome! A maximum of 2 dogs with a $50 pet fee per dog. Sorry, no cats.
