We like to mention this upfront so you can plan accordingly before arrival.

Exciting changes are coming to Sandy Harbor!

Ocean Lakes is beginning a major expansion of its Sandy Harbor facilities in September 2026.

The existing indoor pool, original outdoor pool, and Sandy Harbor Mini Golf are scheduled to close beginning September 8, 2026 for demolition and construction.

During construction, Ocean Lakes plans to utilize the Adventure River as a pool alternative when weather and construction conditions permit.

The new Sandy Harbor facilities are targeted to open by Memorial Day Weekend 2027 and are planned to include:

A brand-new resort-style outdoor pool
Private cabanas
A new climate-controlled indoor facility
A much larger indoor pool
Children`s splash pool and aquatic play area
Two indoor body slides
New food service
An expanded Game Center
