Welcome to your lakefront escape in the heart of Bemus Point on beautiful Lake Chautauqua. This inviting home is designed to help you relax, reconnect, and fully enjoy lakeside living with stunning water views from nearly every space.

The open floor plan brings everyone together, with the dining and living areas overlooking the lake and natural light filling the space. The kitchen also enjoys water views and features granite countertops along with essentials to prepare meals at home, whether it’s a casual breakfast or a family dinner.

The living room is the perfect place to unwind, featuring a cozy wood-burning fireplace, leather sofas, and an impressive 85-inch TV for movie nights or relaxing evenings after a day on the water. Just off the living room, a seasonal enclosed porch opens to a wraparound deck, creating seamless indoor-outdoor living.

The first floor offers three comfortable bedrooms, including one with a king bed and two with queen beds (1 bedroom is a walk through), providing restful accommodations for families or groups.
Upstairs, the open loft provides additional sleeping space with two full-size beds (bunk beds), two twin beds, and a queen futon. This airy space also offers beautiful views of the lake, making it a favorite spot for kids or extra guests.

Step outside and you’re just moments from the shoreline. The wraparound deck is ideal for morning coffee, outdoor dining, or sunset views, while the private dock offers direct lake access for swimming, boating, fishing, or simply soaking in the peaceful surroundings.

Located in charming Bemus Point, you’re close to dining, shops, and all of Lake Chautauqua’s seasonal activities, making this the perfect home base for summer adventures or a relaxing lakeside retreat. In the winter months enjoy nearby snowmobile trails, ice fishing and near-by Peek and Peek (a local resort) where you can enjoy skiing and snow tubing.

Our private dock is seasonal and is typically available from May through October, depending on weather and lake conditions. Lake Chautauqua is a natural body of water, and conditions such as water levels, temperature, clarity, and occasional debris may vary and are beyond our control.

Guests are encouraged to use caution when swimming, boating, or enjoying the shoreline, and to check local conditions during their stay.

The lake offers a beautiful and ever-changing backdrop throughout the year, and we hope you enjoy all it has to offer during your stay.

The house was very clean, well stocked, and located on the water with a long dock for a nice view and easy boat access. A 2-minute drive to town with easy access to stores when needed. Grateful we were too that the A/C and fans worked wonderfully during super hot temps outside. The host was extremely responsive and helpful when we had a few questions and they’re doing a nice job of refreshing the house as newer owners. Our family had a great time including our 18-month old grandson and our daughter’s 3-legged pup who felt like he was in a Make-a-Wish experience.

Hosts were very responsive. Very kind. House was so, so clean. New appliances, new furnishings, new silverware,…. Great outdoor spaces, freshly painted with lots of seating. Dock was very stable and flat entry from the house. Amenities were a welcome surprise(fishing poles, yoga mats, giant Tetris, puzzles, beach towels) Could use mirrors in the bedrooms and a set of drawers. Had some hiccups with the power but the inconvenience was addressed right away and an electrician was on his way once we checked out. 10/10!! If we come to Chautauqua next year, we will stay here again.

The house is definitely family friendly. Super clean. SUPER close to Bemus Point. I would recommend this house for a large group with lots of little kids and you’re not going to go anywhere. Hannah had plenty of things around that can fill the time like fishing poles, games, puzzles, etc. Plenty of places for people to congregate or be left alone. A little rough around the edges in some aspects. Hannah always replied to any questions super quickly, and friendly.

The property was well-stocked with essentials and very clean. There were games to play. We loved the large Tetris and the foosball table. The deck, with its comfortable furniture, became a favorite place for relaxation. The host was wonderful with answering our questions and making sure we were satisfied. The ONLY disappointment was that while we were there, there was too much algae in the lake to swim at the cottage. Otherwise, all good!

Beautiful, clean and comfortable home, we were provided everything we needed and more. The strong AC kept us all comfortable and rested when it was scorching outside. Nice long dock in the water with fish splashing everywhere n the morning. The boat launch is not too far and we were able to store the trailer easily within the parking space available. Would recommend.

The property was great. Nice large space with a dock. Host was great and got back to me quickly. There were a ton of amenities so you did not need to bring much. They had beach towels, life jackets, fishing rods, anything you might need for a trip. The one thing to point out is the layout is different. This would be perfect for 2 couples with kids but if you had 3 couples, it might not work. The one bedroom was in the back and to get to the main living area you have to go through another bedroom. One room had good drawer space to put your clothes. The other rooms had a little drawer space or none. There’s a nice little outdoor space too with a fire pit. The location was awesome too - just a quick 2 minute drive to Bemus Point but most days we took the boat we rented. They are also pet friendly and had dog bowls for you to use too.

This isn’t just a rental to us, it’s our home away from home. It’s where we come to slow down, spend time together, and enjoy everything the lake has to offer, from quiet mornings on the water to evenings by the fire. Because of that, we’ve put a lot of care into making it feel comfortable, welcoming, and like a place you can truly relax.

We love sharing it with guests who are looking for that same experience, whether it’s making family memories, reconnecting, or simply getting a break from everyday life. We hope when you stay here, you feel the same sense of peace and enjoyment that keeps bringing us back.

We chose Bemus Point because it offers the perfect mix of relaxation, family-friendly activities, and a true sense of community. As a family with small children, we love being able to hop on the boat, head over to grab lunch, and let the kids play on the playground, it makes for such easy and memorable days on the lake.

There’s a great sense of community here that you can really feel, especially during the different events throughout the season. We also love the charming shops, local restaurants, and how everything feels close, welcoming, and easy to enjoy. It’s a place where there’s always something to do, but it still feels peaceful and laid-back at the same time.
