Of all the VRBOS we've stayed in, this property exceeded all previous experiences! We were so amazed when we walked in the door! The property was definitely well thought out for a VRBO and so well provisioned. We enjoyed the screened in porch, fire pit and the serenity of the acreage. It was conveniently located near the Peninsula Players theater and a perfect basecamp for exploring Door County.

The property and surrounding area was beautiful! The location was great for the places we love to go. I do wish there were King size beds at least in one of the rooms and better pillows, the plastic protective covers underneith the pillow cases were not comfortable and the bedding could have been more plush for the price. Overall it was fantastic stay and the house had everything we needed for an enjoyable, relaxing getaway.Julie Berstler

We totally enjoyed our 3 night stay at Brian’s beautiful and super clean home. We loved lounging in front of the fireplace and being able to look out of the panoramic windows to the gorgeous backyard. Being able to see the Autumn leaves at their peak, and watching the deer and birds who would wander into view. And then after exploring Door County sites, being able to close the darkening blinds in bedrooms for a peaceful sleep. We will b back! :-)

Super clean house that was perfect for our group. Appreciated the queen beds in each bedroom. We all loved the screened in porch and the living room had plenty of seating. Great communication, easy check in and check out. Will definitely stay again!

This house was impeccably clean, located by our favorite down in DC and matched the listing description exactly. It was perfect for our family of 5. I would definitely come back to this home.

We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this property. The home was clean, comfortable, and had great amenities. We especially appreciated how well-stocked the kitchen was with dishes, cookware, and other essentials, which made our stay very convenient. We had a great experience staying here!

This property located in the quiet woods within minutes of Fish Creek is a gem! It was exceptionally clean and had a well-stocked kitchen. The beds were comfortable, and there were plenty of towels and supplies in each of the bathrooms. The open concept kitchen/living/dining area was spacious and bright. We enjoyed the outdoor and screened in patio areas, also. The hosts provided lots of information about the Door County area to help us plan our outings. It is an ideal location for exploring Door County as it is only a short drive to several towns and right next door to Peninsula State Park. We highly recommend this home.

Our stay was very relaxing and comfortable. The cottage was beautiful, clean, and well stocked. We were pleasantly surprised at how spacious it was, and the property is very private and peaceful, but with all the amenities you could need. Excellent location, very close to town. Brian was extremely communicative and made check-in/check-out a breeze. We loved our stay and hope to be back again soon!

This property was a joy to stay in for a couple days. It is newly built and has all the amenities you would want. Very nicely decorated and fits the property it was built on. The location is perfect to get around Door County. Brian, the owner, was great to work with and very responsive. We will be back when we can stay longer.

Great house and great hosts, we will definitely return and recommend. The house is conveniently close to downtown Fish Creek, the backdrop (yard/lot) is lovely and Brian & Renee have thought of every possible thing you could need during your stay. The house and all the amenities are in new/excellent working condition. My only recommendation, (and this is not a knock against this house!) is for any down pillow sleepers - bring your own from home. Again, wonderful house-we highly recommend!

Cherrywood Cottage was perfect for our "best friends" weekend. It is tucked into the woods, which makes it peaceful and relaxing, yet only minutes away from being centrally located to many Door County attractions. We enjoyed the wildlife on the property (several deer crossed the field in the backyard as we arrived). Loved sitting in the swivel chairs in the morning, drinking coffee and looking out the big picture window. Also enjoyed happy hour on the screened porch. The fireplace was a very cozy touch. The house was very clean and is stocked with everything you need - all in brand new condition. Brian was a super responsive and friendly host. Recommend breakfast at the White Gull Inn for the cherry stuffed french toast. Fish Creek and Egg Harbor had nice shopping and wineries. Not enough time to do everything Door County has to offer! Can't wait to come back!

This was a very, very nice property about 10 minutes from Fish Creek. Easy check-in. Clear instructions. Very clean and comfortable. Photos of property are indicative. My primary concern is what I paid vs. what I thought I would be paying. I’m a relatively infrequent VRBO user, so I was surprised that it was more than twice what I thought I would pay, due to cleaning, service, insurance and taxes. Caveat emptor.

I’m glad you enjoyed your stay at Cherrywood Cottage. However, I want to address the concerns you raised regarding your departure. As outlined in the house rules agreed to upon booking, checkout is strictly at 10:00 AM. While we typically offer a 30-minute grace period for guest convenience, your group remained at the property well past that time. Our cleaning crew arrived on schedule and waited in the driveway, but despite seeing them, your group made no effort to complete your departure. Furthermore, at 10:55 AM—nearly an hour past checkout—you attempted to re-enter the home. Holding up our cleaning crew significantly disrupts their schedule, as they operate on tight turnaround windows across multiple properties to prepare for incoming guests. We expect all guests to respect our posted checkout times and our staff's time. Thank you for your understanding.

Beautiful property in the perfect location! The house was incredibly well stocked with everything we needed. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches for families, like kids’ cups and utensils, which made traveling with a little one so much easier. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful both before and throughout our stay. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely be staying here again!

Gorgeous new home was perfect for our time in Door County. Loved the open layout and the beautiful grounds with fire pit. Enjoyed daily morning coffee watching wildlife and board games the one rainy evening we had in the screened in porch. Location was perfect, especially for golfers in the group being able to access all the courses in upper door as well as an easy drive to Surgeon Bay. Would definitely recommend!
