The rugged mountains of the Ardèche, a cottage in an old barn, with air conditioning!

Located directly on the Tanargue mountains, ideal for hiking, recommended for 2 adults, maybe also 1 child (on request).<br>The gîte in the old barn is located at the back of Uli's house in Valousset-haut. It has been converted into a "one-room" while retaining the height of the rooms (almost 5 m at the gable) and the old quarry stone walls, i.e. apart from the bathroom only the old barn of 70 m² with kitchenette, double bed (200 x 160), sofa, wardrobe and dining table remains. Above the bathroom there is a loft bed with a large mattress (200 x 160). The gîte is therefore better suited for 2 people, 4 people maximum. The gîte is pleasantly bright thanks to the large glass door and the two skylights (one of which can be opened by a motorised control).<br><br>The cottage has a stove, dishwasher, fridge, shower cabin, bathtub, toilet, washing machine, etc. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary crockery, as well as a microwave, kettle, coffee machine, blender, etc. There is a small music system, but no TV. For very hot summers, there is an air conditioning unit. In front of the house there is an old stone bread oven and behind the house there is a sun terrace. There are several benches on which you can sit very nicely and sunbathe from morning to evening. Garden furniture is available.<br><br>Warning: the access path is an old mule track, a little difficult to travel for about twenty meters, it is not suitable for people with reduced mobility!
