Failure to complete verification does not constitute a refund outside of standard cancellation policies. If the primary renter is found to have falsified the ID verification and/or is found to be in violation of the city ordinance (whether it be noise, occupancy, etc.), this will result in a penalty of $1,000 up to the total penalty amount determined by the city of Newport Beach, and immediate eviction. Should the home-owner lose their rental permit due to non-compliance of city rules and regulations, the primary renter will be held liable for loss of rent and legal fees.
