Strings & Streams is a luxury creekfront cabin on trout-filled Mountaintown Creek in Ellijay’s Coosawattee River Resort. Stairs into the river to soak your toes in a slice of nature.

With two king bedrooms, a queen room with private deck, a bunk room, and a music-inspired loft, it’s perfect for families, friends, and peaceful mountain getaways.

The main-level king suite is a peaceful retreat featuring its own gas fireplace and an en suite bath with a walk-in shower and jetted soaking tub.
Upstairs, a second king bedroom offers a cozy seating area, while the queen bedroom opens to a private deck. These rooms share a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo.
The loft is a creative escape for music lovers, complete with a turntable, record collection, electric keyboard, and guitar—an inspiring spot to unwind or create.
On the lower level, a fun bunk room gives kids (or kids-at-heart) their own space, along with a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo. Every guest will find a comfortable place to relax and recharge.

One of the things we love most about this home is the neighborhood itself. Nestled in the quiet, secluded Coosawatee community, it feels like a true mountain escape while still being close to everything Ellijay has to offer. The beautiful river is a true highlight—perfect for relaxing by the water, enjoying the peaceful surroundings, and reconnecting with nature. Perched on a hill, the home offers lovely views and a sense of privacy that’s hard to beat. Despite the serene setting, you’re just a short drive from several local vineyards and cider mills, as well as Ellijay’s charming downtown with its shops, restaurants, and small-town appeal.
