The Space:

Kitchen, Coffee, And Gathering



Put on a record, let the soft crackle of vinyl fill the kitchen, and settle into the rhythm of cooking slowly on the 36-inch chef’s stove.



Anchored by an oversized island with seating for seven, the kitchen is made for slow breakfasts, shared dinners, coffee refills, and long conversations that stretch well past the meal.



For guests who enjoy cooking and lingering over coffee, the kitchen is thoughtfully stocked with Viking pots and pans, chef knives, cooking basics, craft ground coffee, Keurig, French press, Moka pot, and tea kettle.

Black Pine is designed to feel considered from the moment you arrive — quietly stocked with the small details that make a stay feel effortless.



In the primary bedroom, a private fireplace adds one of Black Pine’s most indulgent details — a warm, quiet place to unwind as the evening settles in. The bathroom includes a heated towel rack and rainfall showerhead for a more elevated, spa-like feel after skiing, exploring, or coming in from the cold.



Guests will find robes and slippers in the primary bedroom for settling in, stargazing blankets for clear nights outside, blackout blinds in the bedrooms, and a few just-in-case comforts on hand. For winter stays, the boot dryer and ski rack give wet boots and gear a place to land after time on the mountain.

Outdoor Living



Outside, Black Pine unfolds into a covered open-air lounge — porch seating, outdoor dining, meadow views, firelight, trees, and the kind of stillness that lets guests fully settle in and hear their own thoughts. It is a place to slow down, breathe, and enjoy being tucked away without feeling disconnected.



As evening settles in, the trees and meadow glow softly with landscape lighting, giving the property a warm, atmospheric feel after dark.



Guest Access:

Guests have access to the entire home, porch, yard, propane fire pit area, and designated guest parking areas.



The indoor arena is available for guest parking in any season. In winter, it offers a rare practical comfort: the arena can be opened for your arrival so you can pull inside, unload under cover, and avoid stepping straight into the snow.

Black Pine gives guests the best of both worlds: the quiet and privacy of a rural retreat, with Spokane, Green Bluff, Mount Spokane State Park, skiing, hiking, restaurants, shops, and seasonal activities still within reach. Mount Spokane State Park is about a 25-minute drive from the property, and Mt. Spokane Ski & Snowboard Park is about a 30-minute drive away.



Getting Around:

Black Pine is a rural mountain-area property accessed by an easement, with an approximately quarter-mile gravel driveway leading in through the trees.



Cell service may vary by carrier in this area. High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the home, and we recommend enabling Wi-Fi calling before arrival.



4WD/AWD is strongly recommended in winter due to snow, ice, and rural driveway conditions.



The home uses zoned heating and cooling, along with a pellet stove for added warmth in colder months. Pellets are provided for guest use during your stay.



One complimentary bottle of bioethanol is provided for the indoor fireplaces; additional bottles are available for purchase through Airbnb.



Black Pine is a peaceful retreat, not an event venue. Parties, unapproved gatherings, and unregistered overnight guests are not allowed. The standard house reservation accommodates up to six overnight guests; any additional overnight guests must be approved in advance through an RV add-on arranged through Airbnb.



To help preserve the property and guest experience, pets are not permitted at Black Pine, including visiting dogs. Smoking, vaping, and marijuana use are not permitted inside the home or anywhere on the property.



Exterior cameras may be present for property security and guest safety.

Please note that 4WD is recommended during winter for your safety.



RV Add-On Policy



RV parking may be available only as an add-on to an existing house reservation and must be approved before arrival. We do not accept RV-only stays, separate camping reservations, or unregistered overnight guests.



RV parking is dry camping only. There is no RV power, water, or sewer hookup available, and dumping is not permitted on the property.



Approved RVs may park inside the indoor arena/shop space or outside if guests prefer the views. The garage door is approximately 16 feet tall by 16 feet wide, and the enclosed space is approximately 150 feet long by 50 feet wide, offering substantial room for RV parking.



Black Pine is a rural acreage property with a winding driveway and easement access through trees. Larger vehicles have accessed the property successfully, but RV drivers should plan to drive slowly and follow the provided arrival instructions.

Generators, open flames, and fuel-burning appliances may not be used inside the arena.
