Communication was quick and effective. We needed additional household supplies that were supplied when requested. The house fit our needs with 5 children. Some minor fixing is needed in a couple areas of the home. The pool was nice and cleaned regularly. The close proximity to the beach was a drawing point for our family. Would use this agency for future stays.

The home itself is beautiful, spacious, and in a great location. We enjoyed the pool and the overall layout, and the property has a lot to offer for a family vacation.Unfortunately, given the price of the rental and the 550 cleaning fee, we were disappointed with the condition of the home upon arrival. We found used Band-Aids left behind, dried spills, heavily dust-covered vents, mildew in the washing machine, standing water in the dishwasher, broken shower doors, a broken railing, and a ripped rug. There was also a dead frog and lizard in the pool when we arrived. The outdoor fire pit was also unusable because the propane tank was empty, as was the spare tank provided. Overall, the property did not appear to have been thoroughly cleaned and inspected prior to our stay.We understand that maintenance and cleanliness issues can arise with any rental. However, we were most disappointed by the host’s response when we raised these concerns, which we found to be dismissive rather than helpful or accommodating.A few things for future guests to be aware of: although the property is advertised as a 6-bedroom home sleeping 13, one of the bedrooms is a very small room attached to the primary bedroom, and the sleeping accommodation for the 13th guest is a crib. There is also a swamp directly behind the property, so bringing bug spray is highly recommended.

7 Periwinkle is such a delight! My husband and I made a last minute decision to spend a few days in Hilton Head and I’m so glad we found this wonderful property!The interior of the house has an adorable, cozy beach vibe that is super comfortable and inviting. The bathrooms all seem to have been renovated, so cleaning up after a beach day is enjoyable in these crisp clean bathrooms.The kitchen is well appointed with all the items you would need to bake, fry, broil, etc. … even a crockpot! We dined out each night, but imagined a big family preparing wonderful meals while gathering here.The outdoor area provides its own living area under the house, complete with a fun chair swing for watching the pool or reading a book, an outdoor sofa and chairs with a large outdoor tv. There’s a big table for outdoor dining under “party lights”. The pool was refreshing with it’s sunbathing shelf and it was partly shaded by the prettiest tree. We didn’t get around to using the firepit but next time we will:)The beach access is super easy, with Folly Field beach just steps away. The hosts are extremely attentive, just a message away. There was a slight issue with the pool filter, which they managed to resolve in about an hour. Super impressed!We’ll be returning with our adult children soon:)

This was a perfect house for our family of 12! The downstairs under the house is a great space to hangout at night, play games, swim, ping pong, etc. Everything is pretty much as the pictures describe. The yard could use a little TLC but that didn’t stop us from having a great time! We’ve stayed in HH a few times and Folly Beach is the most crowded beach we’ve seen! Also, the fridge downstairs in the hangout area is very useful and handy.
